Great room with a gorgeous view. Love the filtered water machine and options of beverage. It would be great to include a small pack of milk in the fridge as I don’t drink black coffee. I love the fact we have real mugs not a small cup. The bed was comfortable and the room lights were perfect. Clean environment and the bamboo flooring was beautiful. With the beach mètres away it was the perfect venue to relax. Very convenient with multiple CU and GS25 shops close. We walked everywhere even up to BIFF. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The views of Songdo are fantastic, and staying at the Fairfield by Marriott, you get to enjoy incredible scenery right from the hotel. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a short walk to the cable car, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room view was fantastic and the bedding was very comfortable. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, and I could hear noises from the next room. What's more, the male front desk staff member had a terrible attitude. Before booking, I specifically left a note requesting a high floor, away from the elevator, and a quiet room. This male staff member initially assigned me to the third floor (out of 22 floors). After I requested a room change, he moved me to the ninth floor, right next to the elevator. I honestly think he did it on purpose. Later, I found a female front desk staff member who kindly moved me to a quiet room on the 10th floor. Check-in took an entire hour! I think everything else was fine, besides the service.

The view from the window is quite nice, and the Serta mattress is comfortable. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated. The curtains are a bit finicky, and the bathroom door doesn't have enough clearance to tuck in a bath towel at the bottom. The body towels and hand towels are also looking a bit old. I hope the hotel can upgrade its facilities; with a refreshed environment, I'm sure business would be great.

The room view was fantastic, directly facing Songdo Beach. The nearby restaurants were also great, and there's a convenience store right downstairs. The room was a bit small, and getting around required using the bus or Uber. The interior was pretty standard, with some peeling on the walls and floors already. Closing the curtains was a hassle; I had to climb onto the sofa to reach them. It's a design flaw, and I even bumped into a protruding wooden board getting down, leaving a bruise. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted freely, and it got especially hot during the day with the sun out. 🥵

We quite enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield hotel primarily due to the large windows with ocean view and that the location is close to the cable car ride and the cloud trail at songdo beach. We like the relaxing vibe at the songdo beach more compared to other busy Haundae beach or Gwangalli beach. Overall, the hotel offers most of the amenities we needed for our two-night stay.

The room was great and the view was nice. There's a supermarket downstairs and the beach is right across from the hotel. It's very close to the Songdo Cable Car, but there's no subway station so you'll need to take a taxi or bus to get around.
