Griffin Bay Hotel in Busan

Facilities: Everything was acceptable except for the lack of a shower curtain.
Hygiene: Perhaps because my stay was short, they didn't clean the room, but they would hang fresh towels on the doorknob.
Environment: Very good.
Service: Very friendly, and they offer luggage storage.

Location is the best for us, near shopping area, food street and also lotte department store.
Convenient to use public transportation.

The hotel is located right in Jagalchi Market, with Nampodong just across the street. The hotel itself is relatively new and very clean. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely book this hotel again.

Location is next to Jagachi market, but a bit far other tourist place (everywhere are far apart so it’s not about hotel location) . Easy to go from Busan railway station by just a bus. Many bus no. Options where you can take to many places. Nampo station is right next to hotel.

Cannot do early check in, but allow to leave the luggage at the front desk. Everyone drop the luggage here.

The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and attentive. I hadn't realized food wasn't allowed at the front desk, but after a quick chat, they let me eat the instant rice I'd brought, which shows great understanding and flexibility in their management. Breakfast was good, and housekeeping was every two days. They even left fresh towels hanging outside my door.

The room was quite clean, a few hundred meters from the subway station, and even closer to Jagalchi Market, which has many restaurants. Jagalchi Market is similar to Sanya's First Market, with seafood sold on the first floor and processing services on the second for a fee. Look at the window in Picture 1 – both panes open inward towards the center, unlike in China where they open outwards to the sides. This design is inconvenient to use, especially since the room is small; it really gets in the way.

The hotel looks dated and not much amenities. However, it's location is very good, near to Busan station, lotte mall and seafood market.

Overall review: Worth staying.

Space: The double bed was a bit small, not a standard double. The room itself wasn't large, but generally adequate. The bathroom was a bit cramped; at 185cm tall, my knees almost touched the wall when using the toilet, practically facing it.

Amenities: Can't complain. Though small, it had everything you need. The AC and mini-fridge worked great, and there was a hairdryer and slippers, which was excellent.

Location: Situated between Nampo and Jagalchi stations, it's generally a 10-minute walk to either subway station. The seafood market is right outside, and a night market street is next door, making dining super convenient. Lotte Department Store is a 10-minute walk away, with a shopping street across from it. The downside is that it's quite far from Haeundae, over an hour's journey. Main attractions near the hotel include Gamcheon Culture Village, Songdo Cable Car, Busan Tower, and Huinnyeoul Culture Village. Major attractions covered by the Busan Pass, such as Lotte World Adventure, luge, yacht tours, and the Haeundae Blueline Park coastal train, are all over an hour away.

My room was a family room, and there were two of us staying. The hotel staff was very courteous and even booked a free taxi to the airport for us. They also had a luggage scale, which was very convenient. The hotel is located near the street where the International Film Festival is held, so it's great for eating and shopping.

I enjoyed my stay here at Griffin hotel. A modern cost effective hotel in the heart of everything.
The accommodation is the integral part of any vacation so it has to come correct. This is an example of such. I will stay here over and over when I visit busan again.

It’s new, modern, lively, quiet, serene, centre to everything and above all budget friendly. Compared to hotels around.

You’ll get value for whatever you pay here. I got value for my money. So yes it’s a 10/5 🤩🤩🤩
