Rooms are nice and clean. But this place is woefully understaffed. Endless waiting time at reception. Pool frequently opens after 11 am, no idea why. Wifi is sloooow. They charge 10 euros for 40 minutes of Spa which most hotels just include for free. Mixed feelings about this.
Good service. Friendly reception staff. We had to change room after bad toilet cleaning. Smelled pee still after the second complaint. The food was or could be excellent. But they must have a different clock in this hotel. Everything was waaaay to overcooked. Dry as a bone whatever meat they served. Cakes and dessert though was good. Mixed feelings about this hotel.
This place is even more lovely in person than in the photos! Most of the guests are families and breakfast can be a bit chaotic but you are still always able to get a table and get to the buffet easily. We took a taxi to benicassim which cost around €50 - it’s about a 30 minute drive away from the hotel but definitely worth visiting if you want a nice meal out and good nightlife at a reasonable price...

This hotel at Peñiscola, Spain by the Mediterranean, is something else. It is not a luxury hotel but is a hotel with a hearth. The amount of delicious food, the sweeming pool and the girls that serve you are amazing. And the prices!! I believe, are unique for such a good service.
We stayed for 4 nights and found everything to our liking. The room was large & spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, great view over the castle, WiFi good. There was an excellent choice of food in the dining room, we had booked half board & enjoyed every meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at the Agora hotel again & also recommend it to our family & friends!
Pastry at breakfast is fully industrial type. Coffee is Netscape machine. The "embutidos" are medium - low quality type. You have some fresh fruit and cereals plus fried eggs, sausages and other hot dishes. The bathroom in our room is shown some aging in the dush but still acceptable. The location of the hair dryer is unacceptable, too close to the sink tap.
Overall I would say my stay here was pretty comfy. Adults' pool was a great surprise and very nice to have, nice views and relaxed atmosphere. WiFi didn't work as expected though (it didn't even reach my room) but worked fine on the lobby. Breakfast was good and comolete. Our room was big (two king size beds side by side,which made for a huge bed) and wide corridors.
Our room (Junior Suite) was nice and very spacious. It has two large and confortable beds. The living room was also nice and has access to a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The cleanless was good and the dinning room serves the classic continental breakfast. The location of the hotel is perfect to visit Peñíscola's old town and its castle and fortifications.

So happy to have bumped across this hotel while booking our stay, coz not only is the service impeccable, but the location is perfect! Close to the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the Peniscola Castle which is a tourist attraction spot here! I stayed here with my daughter and we had a great time. The bed was amazing, the room quiet and it always smelled good. The pool is refreshing, breakfast was very good. The surrounding area was also very nice with shops and quaint little streets on the peninsula. Good beach, beautiful water. All in all we liked our stay and I would recommend the hotel.

The Papa Luna is a bit of a Peñiscola institution. Very comfortable rooms, great location, pleasant staff and amazing food at the buffet. Your waistline won't thank you if you stay too long! Highly recommend.
Due to the "quality" of the food, all of us we had daily gases and indigestions. Also, have the same deserts every each day is not at all a pleasent experience!

I really enjoyed my stay here! I had the best beach view and the best thing is that the beach is just in front of you. It has a great pool and the food is very good. A good experience. The campsite was very clean, activities for children. Service in the restaurant was quite poor but in general the campsite staff were friendly and helpful. Did not know that the restaurants were not open at all for dinner until very late or not at all. In speaking with the nice waiter who spoke english - explained it.
