Nice hotel with a fabulous sea view (on request) and terrace. Very high standard of cleanliness overall. Great staff. Breakfast is perfect and a wide choice available. We were very disappointed with the dinner and definitely think that food could be better for 4 star hotel. Gym equipment needs repairs (multigym weights broken, seat on legpress is broken) and air conditioning would be really good. Water cooler would be nice too but can bring your own. There's no hygiene spray to wipe down the equipment after use and it's necessary to have this. Overall enjoyed the stay but would give dinner a miss.

I really enjoyed my stay here! I had the best beach view and the best thing is that the beach is just in front of you. It has a great pool and the food is very good. It has a great variety of things to do. The staff is nice and there is a parking next to the hotel. The best thing about this hotel is that you can see the beach at all time and that it’s super close.

Excellent value. Ocean view room for 4 at less than half of a standard run of the mill hotel (for 4) in Barcelona. Clean. Across from beach. I heated pool. Friendly staff. No pool towels (bring your own). Food was cheap (half board included in room rate) but pretty disappointing quality

Overall a good experience at the Peñiscola Palace hotel. The location is very good - right next to the beach and a pleasant walk from the town centre. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is reasonable modern and is immaculately clean. On-site secure parking was available for an additional €10 per night. Free on street parking was also available a short walk from the hotel. We were given a great room with lots of space and a huge balcony, which we were very happy with. The only real area for improvement was the food, which although always more than adequate, stopped short of anything really impressive. However, I suppose that this is often the case with all inclusive deals. I suspect that the hotel management place budget constraints on the chefs in order to reduce costs. The reality is that although we were pleasantly surprised that the food was better than we might have expected when we arrived, by the end of the week it had become a little boring and repetitive.

Nice hotel, very good room with nice sea views and excellent bathroom. Communal areas in very good order and staff friendly and generally helpful. We selected the full board choice and the food was, for this sort of hotel, very nice with plenty of choice. Bar prices were extremely fair for a hotel and generally, for the price paid all was good. Only complaint was the howling mess they made of the birthday cake I provided with candle. It was delivered to our table still in the packaging and with no candle. Really very disappointing. Despite this I would recommend this establishment

GPS could not locate this address but once I got directions, the hotel was an amazing find! More like a resort with pool and spa on sight. Lovely restaurant and bar. The restaurant service is charged to your room. We did feel rushed with lunch as they close at 3:00. At breakfast, we had an embarrassing moment when we sat down at a table that apparently wasn’t set yet. The waiter made quite a scene. Since we couldn’t speak Spanish, not sure what all was said but he was certainly unhappy. Other that that, hotel is in a perfect location. They offer secure parking at an additional fee.
