Where to stay in Cambrils

There was nothing terribly wrong with the hotel, just a few niggles which meant that we wouldn't return. 1: No tea and coffee facilities in the room which in a hotel pertaining to be 4* is poor. Hotel has a massive problem with mosquitoes inside the hotel. Lots of people full of bites although many like myself wore repellent. Trying to have a drink in the bar at night was awful as we were constantly bombarded with mosquitoes. Even in the restaurant the mosquitoes were settling on the glasses and food. It was a good stay at the hotel, we didn't face any problems. The rooms are good, but the air conditioning doesn't work. If you have a room overlooking the highway, it will be difficult to open the balcony door to get some air in, as the air conditioning won't work because the cars will disturb you and make it difficult to sleep. The food was good and varied.

The experience you get from this hotel will fully depend on who you are. English will not have a great time. Spanish guest get better service. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel to ask about whether they had allergy lists above the food due to me and my daughter both having an allergy to peanuts, I never received a reply. We noticed the use of nuts on on certain foods but with no labelling at all...

hotel is in a quite part of cambrils with a lovely beach just a two minute walk away. the rooms was very clean and house keeping came every morning. wardrobe had plenty of space and beds were comfy. the food was okay. same food every day so did get a bit boring and chicken wasn’t always cooked fully. but i would go back again and did enjoy my stay.

Happy to recommend My stay fulfilled all my expectations of a vacation I'd promised myself.

We stayed for 2 days, but we were not happy with the shower, the water used to leak into the main room. And the the tea or coffee in the room was never refilled. The food choices in the restaurant was not great so we had food outside. But it was decent not the great experience.

Lovely hotel with fantastic facilities. The buffet breakfast was impressive with a wide choice. The hotel is bigger than we expected and the rooms were a little noisy but it was run well and we had no issues. It’s between Cambrils and Salou and you would need to walk 30mins. There are taxis/buses available either. Would stay again.

Fabulous hotel for all the family, the beach is on the doorstep and its child friendly. Loads to do for kids including a small dedicated pool with slides, adults have their own pool and bar and no children are allowed. Rooms are excellent and very comfortable. This is definitely a hotel we will return to as its such a short flight and has everything you could want.

2nd time here this year we love this resort so much to do. The room was great. The food was first class. The pools indoor and outdoor were perfect. Very clean and large room. Nice breakfast but above all a top staff. We arrived very late and receptionist was waiting outside to welcome us and guide us to the parking Space. We stayed in a one bed apartment and were looking for a relaxing holiday. It has recently been refreshed. The sofa bed was very comfortable. However, the pool doesn't open until 11am, it is very noisy with the kids club activities. The kitchen isn't well stocked, not even a bottle opener. Breakfast was good. Apartment cleaned daily. Air conditioning was excellent.

I will give this place a 5 star rating because I have been there a few times and we really love the location, pool and animation team and some of the waiters and waitresses are great too and make your feel at home. Just had a budget week at this hotel half board. We absolutely can't knock it for what we paid. The hotel is central, it's clean, in fact the maids cleaned our room everyday and we must have got clean towels 4 times. Really impressed by the staff at Port Eugeni. My initial room was decent but didn't have a desk for work and online meetings. They quickly found me a much better room that was incredibly comfortable, with a great desk and a spotless bathroom. Their quick and helpful response was so appreciated, allowing me to work comfortably in my air-conditioned room instead of a sweltering terrace in July!

The majority of guests are French and the food on offer reflects this.Pigs trotters and snails etc. The balconies are tiny. There are small gardens containing bushes around the pool area and they are a breeding ground for mosquitoes as the gardens are watered on a regular basis. Most of the staff are friendly.

Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Monica Hotel. it was our second visit to the hotel and equally enjoyable as our first. Stayed here 1st week of September. Nice clean hotel with room service and fresh towels everyday. Great location for beach , restaurants & bars. We were on b&b only so can’t comment on evening food but breakfast was good with a good selection of hot or cold produce. The hotel is a bit worn, but the room and bathroom were clean. Unfortunately, the mattress was very uncomfortable for me, with a dent in it. There's a large free parking lot just 3 minutes away. Breakfast was good and even available from 6:00 AM! Great!

The General appearance of the Hotel was clean, stylish and had attention to safety. The room was clean and very pleasing to the eye. plenty of pillows and a well stocked bathroom. Shower cubicle was very roomy.

Decent solid hotel with a 9 hole golf course. Then restaurant is good and the garden is lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the area. It is economically priced and a short drive or taxi from the sea. It is less well known to tourists and as a result attracts a more mature crowd during the season.

Quite a nice hotel which is at the side of the motorway. It seemed popular with labourers. We were charged €10 for the dog. Reception lady was lovely. Bar food looked nice- good selection of burgers, pizzas, salads etc. We ate in the restaurant which opens at 8. They do a daily menu for around €16pp. Had to send our food back as it wasn’t warmed through enough. It reminded me of Wetherspoons meals...

After a long journey and a disappointing stay in a hotel in Vienne, France, this was a most welcome experience. All staff from front desk to housekeeping were polite and welcoming and very helpful. When i arrived there was no one in the reception, the bar-straff was dealing with the matter of check-in. They acted confused and had no good system took a long time to get the room. Inside the room you heard everything from the neighbours and in the corridor. Not many hours sleep for the noice.

The hotel is perfectly situated, plenty of shops and bars around. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy. The lady on reception was very help on checking in. The Hotel has a unique charm. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. We were unlucky to have a room over the kitchen area so quite noisy in the morning. But other then that I can't complain, good value and lovely helpful staff.

Nice little hotel. Parking is quite difficult as there are no allocated areas, but for the price it's hard to beat. Staff friendly and reply to emails.

Even taking into consideration the hotel was quite small with very basic rooms. But important clean. For us the most important was the help of the people working at reception. You will be able to solve all with them.

We booked this hotel because it was not too far from Port Aventuara theme park. We also got chance to see this quiet little beautiful town with nice beaches and some great places to eat. Highly recommended. The owners were so helpful and suggested some good places to go to. An excellent stay here.

Very well located self catering apartment across from the beeches and beside a supermarket and a few nice bars . Up the road is salou 2 miles one way or 2 miles the other way is the old fishing port and marina . About 6 miles away is portaventura and Ferrari land theme park . The is also the main line train 1.30 minute to Barcelona.
