While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. The hotel is neglected, the parking lot is dirt with holes, and the lighting is poor at night. They don't inform you that all the restaurants will be closed, and you have to queue to get in. As for PortAventura World, the theme park is awful. I don't plan to ever return unless they change their system of charging for everything.

A great hotel, rooms are an adequate size with a nice balcony. The shower is amazing. Food is nice enough for a buffet style, we are half board but we can switch our evening meal out for lunch. We did have to pay for our drinks with the evening meal, but they are not a bad price. Pool is reasonable, with sun beds around. Plenty of evening entertainment during the week.

Good location, hotel needs updating Good stay and very good location. The rooms are very small and the entire hotel could do with an update as some areas are very tired/run down (for example one of the toilets for the ladies in reception doesn’t have a toilet seat - a basic requirement for a 4* hotel I think)! Port Aventura short break Friendly staff, lovely large comfortable lounge area. Came for a few days to visit Port Aventura, a 15/20 min walk to park. Rooms basic, but clean, bed good if you like a firm mattress, my husband does, terrible if you don’t, I don’t!

Great hotel & great value for money. Food is good for the large variety that they present each breakfast & dinner. Bar staff are tremendous & enjoy helping you learn Spanish (when you try and order in the local language). Facilities all good and entertainment was good too. Bed was a little hard for my liking and the cleanliness of our room was more of a 4/5. Overall 4/5 stars but would stay again.

Recently got back from this hotel last week, the rooms are clean and dining area is clean! The only bad things are that the pool area looks nothing like the pictures, there is too many chairs next to the bar area then there is sun beds all seemed all over the place and was hardly anywhere to go in the sun. We stayed at the San Diego 10th to 20th September. I'd say it was a good Premier Inn with a pool. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is mainly clean & tidy. We had a problem checking into our room as the air aircon made a hell of a racket, but we were moved with minimum fuss.
