Very good hotel in its category. The area is small. A good varied diet. Located near the port of Cambrils where numerous restaurants, specialising in seafood. Recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

Location: 110 km from Barcelona airport, 20 km from Reus airport, 20 km from the centre of Tarragona, 4.5 km from the centre of the tourist area of Salou, in the center of Cambrils, 200 m from the beach. The nearest bus station – 200 m taxi stop – 150 m, night bar 100 m, restaurants – 100 m, supermarket – 20 m, pharmacy – 50 m ATM – 100 m.

Consists of one 6-storey building.
The hotel has 100 rooms (non-Smoking). There are 2 rooms for people with disabilities. Also they are equipped with accesses to reception, restaurant, bar, restrooms, Elevator.
Beach: public, sandy (Playa Regueral), 500 m from the hotel (3 coastline). On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Poolside deckchairs: free of charge. The beach is 1.2 km away.

The real issue was the parking. Whatever you do, avoid the underground car park the hotel suggests (no idea why they still send their customers there when the car park has tons of negative reviews with similar experiences). It's extremely overpriced, and the man running it was aggressive, hard to communicate with, and even tried to charge us for extra days we didn't use. We ended up paying €20 for a "full day" when the car was only inside for about 15 minutes while we argued with him. Looking around, it made sense why the garage was practically empty. If you have a car, I'd recommend instead using the free car park by the Aldi roundabout (about 10 minutes walk) it’s busy and you might need to hunt for a spot, but at least you won't get scammed.
The hotel is walking distance from all the restaurants and amenities. It is also very close to the harbour and the beach. The hotel room was clean and spacious, and the bed comfortable. The air conditioning was superb, you nearly didn't want to leave the hotel given how hot it was outside versus how comfortable in the hotel.
It has a very beautiful swimming pool upstairs with many sun beds, but there are very few sun umbrellas by the swimming pool (there were only two old umbrellas and one was broken). That is not good if you like laying on the shade by the swimming pool like me.
Also, strangely, the safe deposit box is not included in the price! So if you want your precious possessions to be safe (who doesn't?) you'll have to cough up an extra €3/day. And here is the twist, you must also pay a refundable €10 deposit for the safe deposit box key, but this deposit must be IN CASH only! This is going to be a problem for people from the UK travelling without euros as you will be forced to make an (expensive) ATM cash withdrawal just for the deposit box.
So in conclusion 4 out of 5 stars for me. I really liked the hotel, but I knocked out one star due to the deposit box extra payment (it should be free!), the cash deposit requirement (cash only in 2024?, seriously?), and the lack of sun umbrellas by the swimming pool.
My initial room was decent but didn't have a desk for work and online meetings. They quickly found me a much better room that was incredibly comfortable, with a great desk and a spotless bathroom. Their quick and helpful response was so appreciated, allowing me to work comfortably in my air-conditioned room instead of a sweltering terrace in July!
