Don't get corner room over the smoking area or you can't sit on balcony for fumes. Sun in morning for about sixty minutes if lucky. Bus service to Nerja very good. Staff are very good, food ok gets a bit repetitive after two weeks, it's value for the price paid.

Rooms are nice. Very spacious. We had a second floor room with pool and sea view. Big balcony. Location is out of town but it's a lovely walk along the sea front or you can catch a bus which is only 1 euro. Taxis cost 8 euros. Staff are amazing. Food a bit bland but fresh and plentiful. Spa is brilliant, only 14 euros. The room service not great, they do the bare minimum. I would say more of a 3 star than 4. It's a bit remote, you really need a car. Local buses from downtown stop at 8.45pm.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. Paid extra for a sea view room and loved it! Buffet pretty descent. Staff friendly. If you don't have the full all inclusive, at dinner, there are no free drinks included, not even water, so take your own with you if you don't want to be charged. My wife and I had a great time. The water was beautiful, beach was clean, the food was delicious , all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Especially the receptionist Marivi, she was so kind to us and very helpful, felt like we were talking to a dear friend. She definitely made our stay that more special. This was our first time staying here and will not be the last.

I am just back from Nerja. Stayed in The Perla Marina . Wonderful hotel, great location. Beautiful restaurants nearby. Jamaica is well worth a visit. Ruskens for lunch and a good glass of wine. I have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, we made an error with our booking and didn’t ask for twin beds, the Reception Staff kindly changed our room for us even though it was our mistake. Our stay was most enjoyable. This was our 4th stay at the Riu Monica. We stayed for 3 weeks and we were well looked after. Wifi was free anywhere in the hotel. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We loved everything about the Padador. We were greeted by Jose Louis when we arrived. He always had a smile and gave us great tips to the city. A fantastic hotel. The location is amazing, with beautiful gardens to escape the heat, and gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. Staff was great, in particular Luz and Antonio from reception. Excellent location of this Parador, good size rooms with good beds and bedlinens, but the Parador itself and the rooms are not up to Parador standards and were below my expectations. Quality/Price ratio is poor.

It was my first stay at the Parador Hotel. It was a nice hotel with a good distance from the center of Nerja. It was clean and comfortable. It was a shame that I only stayed for one night.

Excellent hotel, quiet rooms, warm and friendly hotel staff, the hotel terrace faces the Mediterranean Sea, and you can go directly to the beach by swiping the room card to use the elevator. The breakfast is rich, the free dinner dishes are good, and the service is in place.

We spent a lovely 5 days at Hotel Toboso Chaparil. It’s a small quiet hotel, friendly and in a great location, it is fairly basic and very clean. My mom, aunt, and I stayed here for three nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it felt overpriced. I expected something more upscale for the cost. It was fine overall, just not as nice as I thought it would be.

Clean and tidy. Lifts to level 1 and 2 but not to pool area or rooftop so perhaps not for people who struggle with stairs but other than that a lovely boutique hotel for a short break.

This property is located right in the heart of the square- the Balcony of Europe. Step Outside your hotel and you have restaurants and shops galore. The hotel staff is excellent and the rooms are very clean. Furniture is basic but we had everything we needed. Some rooms offer an incredible sea view. Clean but in need of a bit of tlc. Road noise from motorway when on balcony or if windows open. Comfy beds and having a fridge in the room was handy. Meals in the restaurant were a reasonable price.

The room was clean. But the hotel is run down, the pool was dirty and other than the caves there are no services within walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately my experience wasn’t very positive. The place feels more like a motel than a proper hotel. Room view is gorgeous and we got to enjoy sunrise right on our patio. Staff was very friendly. Room is a bit dated but well maintained and not run down. Unlike said in some reviews, we found the breakfast a pleasant and tasty experience with good selections including fresh bakeries, cold cuts, hot meat and eggs, fruits and beverages. While this isn’t the Ritz, they have done a great job of providing all you need for a night in Nerja. The room has a mini fridge, kettle for tea and nice bathroom. The AC was clutch and the staff very friendly. No added pomp and decor but everything provided that you may need. The only “issue” is no parking. We have just returned from 10 nights at the Villa Flamenca in Nerja. The hotel is outstanding. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious with the added luxury of a glass of Mimosa every morning. Lovely pool area to relax in. Rooms were serviced every day. Amazing location. Room was outdated and quite dirty, bathroom was very bad. I had to buy a candle as the room had a terrible smell. Great hotel right on the Balcon in Nerja. We had a sea view room - 102 - very comfy bed, heating (December visit) and fantastic shower. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of hot and cold options. We checked in late but the communication of entry codes etc was well managed and easy.

Incredible position, couldn't be more centrally located. Decent size rooms and extremely clean. Buffet breakfast in our opinion (a group of 6 adults) was very good, especially for the price. Good continental selection and hot food. We don't understand the poor breakfast reviews by others guests. We have stayed here before and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Just back from a weeks stay in the Balcon. Our experience was all positive. The location was amazing. Read that this Hotel a little dated we found it traditional. Our room didn't have a view but was clean and comfortable. Breakfast good. Evening meal enjoyable. Loved our holiday and would stay there again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We have just had a 3 night stay and really can't fault it. We were both surprised and delighted on arrival to find our sea view room had been upgraded to a Junior Suite. The room was very comfortable with a amazing view. Prime location but at certain times almost impossible to get served. We waited a good 20 minutes outside and watched many people get up and leave before we eventually got served. We were told there was only one bar man on duty. Poor show and such a shame.

Comfort and value. Great pool facilities and apartment was clean with everything you need. The closest beach is Burriana beach but is bit of walk. There's public bus but it only comes hourly. My family enjoyed the stay and would come back again.

The property had a fully equipped kitchenette and washing machine in the showeroom. No bath unfortunately and mould around shower door. Back bedroom smelled of damp, bed a bit uncomfortable but all clean. The private balcony was large, had sunbeds, two tables and superb views of the town and sea. Good A 5-night stay in Nerja, mainly for relaxation, beach time, and outings in the town. The accommodation was located quite far from the center of Nerja, on a mountainside. Ideally, you need a car. Otherwise, a bus runs every hour to access the center and the beaches. The apartment matched the description, with all amenities.

Location is lovely. Walking distance from beaches and Nerja centre. Quiet accommodation and pleasant communal swimming pool. The terrace.

Because it's in the old town, aside from the inconvenient parking and the fact that the old buildings don't have elevators, it's practically perfect. It offers a wealth of historical sites to visit, and the mosque is very close by.

Great central location, right in the heart of Nerja and within easy walking distance of everything. The rooftop pool is a real highlight — a lovely space to relax with great views. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely finished. One small suggestion would be to add a kettle in the room, which would make the stay even better. Ok so I have given this hotel a 3 out of 5 because i am trying to be fair. It is a budget hotel and you therefore need to have realistic expectations. For example, the hotel itself is a little tired and needs updating and the gym equipment is poor quality, but it is clean. The reception staff were all first class. Very helpful and very friendly. Overall, our stay was okay, some good ,some not so good. Our room had lovely sea view, from the balcony and was clean, but in need of some updating, particularly in the bathroom. The pool area was quite nice. Our biggest disappointment was the food, particularly breakfast.

There was a queue of people all arriving at reception, our room was the only one ready. The staff are very friendly and helpful towards making my stay pleasant. Both Christmas and New Years dinners were exceptional.
