My mom, aunt, and I stayed here for three nights. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it felt overpriced. I expected something more upscale for the cost. It was fine overall, just not as nice as I thought it would be.

Clean and tidy. Lifts to level 1 and 2 but not to pool area or rooftop so perhaps not for people who struggle with stairs but other than that a lovely boutique hotel for a short break.

We liked:
1. It's a nice hotel in an area with plenty of good restaurants and a short walk to the beaches.
2. Pleasant rooms kept spotlessly clean and well stocked
3. Roof top sun terrace with small pool and good bar service.
The downsides:
1. Wifi seemed to be unavailable throughout the hotel
2. We were told the adjacent road closes at 5pm so made sure we arrived prior to that time. The reality is the road is permanently closed so it's tricky to reach on foot with luggage particularly as parking is at a premium in Nerja
3. The breakfast was the poorest we had on our trip around Southern Spain
Aside from the negatives which were frustrating we did enjoy our stay

Nice hotel and location
The rooms were small, but we had a balcony with a mountain view that made it seem sweet. Without that it would have felt cramped. The breakfast was great, worth paying for it. Location was excellent. Roof pool is small but the view is fantastic.

My wife and I visited the Cavana plaza hotel, Nerja in October and we absolutely loved it. The staff were brilliant and the hotel is perfectly situated for people wanting to be in the center of the town, which is quintessentially old Spain, beautiful really beautiful. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the roof top pool and bar are a real bonus. Our room had duel aspect Juliet balconies which looked on to the Plaza and were perfect for chilling, people watching and just watching the world go by.

Lovely interior for casual dining.
Different menus...daily 3 course menu for €9.50, or special €16.
Then, normal á la carte.
Also, saw pizza being served.
Food was good. Can't rate properly as stupidly ordered from daily 3 course menu and portion sizes were small (prob more suited to small adult or child.)
Would return, as we all liked the staff.
