Normal hotel close to Cordoba attractions, excellent staff, clean rooms, but privacy issues. We stayed one night on way to Seville from Granada. We came to Cordoba from Granada by bus, that's why we selected this hotel because of proximity to Cordoba bus station. Hotel's location can easily be found. The room was quiet and clean. The one quibble I have is with the air-conditioning. There are informational sheets in the room explaining: it is central A/C and the temperature is set by management according to some guideline. So it kicks off in the evening. 3 nights in Cordoba Small family run hotel just inside the historical centre of the town. Great location for exploring Cordoba and surrounding area, close to station, park, buses,cafés, shops. Single rooms quite small and a bit dated but perfectly adequate. Extremely clean, nice hot shower and very comfy bed. Staff helpful and pleasant. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Really clean hotel in a very central location. 4/5 because: - the hallway was noisy until 2 or 3 in the morning. I don’t know if it was other rooms or the office/service staff - unfortunately I saw a cockroach in my room!

There was no elevator, and I had to check in at another hotel where they told me breakfast was from 7 to 12. On my last day, I arrived early at 7:05 because I had to catch the bus, and they told me breakfast wouldn't be served until 8. The cleaning staff were incredibly friendly. In short, good value for money.

The room was small and the window couldn't be opened, but it was well-equipped and had a great location. There was a coffee shop across from the plaza outside the hotel where breakfast was very cheap, and a supermarket (Dia) was also nearby.

Some of the other reviews seemed unduly harsh. It’s a 2 star hotel so it’s wise to manage expectations. The lady at reception spoke perfect English and was very helpful. The hotel is basic and our room was small but clean and in the bathroom there were toiletries available and plenty of hot water. The location is very good and there is a supermarket opened on the Sunday across the street.

Nice hotel in nice location. We were asked which room to choose, if on the street or internal. We chose the one giving on the street and I appreciated bluesy music, as I am a blues and music lover.

This place is close to the city center. Nice park nearby. Hotel has it's own restaurant and few local bars nearby. You can find free parking place for a car in the neighbourhood ~300-400 m from the hotel. Everything was fine for us.

Stayed in this good little hostal in March 2016. Ferdinand may not have been "El Guapo" but he was very friendly and hospitable.

Fernando el guapo was amazing and so welcoming. He recommended casa basillo to us. And recomended the hostal in granada. Would go back to stay again. My only issue...the water heater..but now I know. My fault for having it up too high. :)

Disappointed Rather tired old hotel but excellent location and good (tight) carparking for an extra charge. Friendly and helpful staff. Aircon struggled in very hot weather, small bed and no breakfast onsite. Had booked for three nights and paid in advance on arrival. We shortened our stay to two nights and gave them 24 hours warning of our early departure, but the manager refused to refund the unused...

Modern room, clean, friendly staff.

Friendly staff, large rooms, even though it was a bit of a walk from the sites, it was safe neighborhood and had access to public transportation. We took a bus from the train station to the hotel. Room was clean, hot water was nice and overall it was a pleasant place to stay. AC and TV in room worked.

Close to the heart of the city, nice and clean, very friendly staff, the underground parking lot are very small and difficult to use, small adventure for itself, but in case one get assistance by the stuff

Not easy to access its underground parking. The lift to parking was broken when I checked out. I had to wait more than an hour to get out, which screwed up my booked tour.

The beds are quite hard & short

A short walk from the bus and train stations, this hotel has an old look but was well updated. Its several covered public seating areas were charming. It's an easy bus ride to the old part of town and an easy walk to a grocery store. A lucky find!

Everything appears to be excellent, except the shower faucet and drain in the bath tub.

The hostel has a complicated check in process. There was no one at the reception the whole time. Besides that, I enjoyed my stay a lot. Nice and clean facilities. Booking directly over their website was the cheapest option.

Bedroom is nice, the bathroom is impecable. You have lockers to put all your things but they don't have locks so that will be a problem when there's too many people that you don't know. But I'm alone and have the entire room just for me 😎❤️ And if you need something they'll reply to you as soon as possible and they're very kind.

The receptionist was delightful, speaks English as well as Spanish and very understanding/kind. Overall a lovely experience, the room was clean and had everything that was stated in the booking. There is a common kitchen and terrace/seating area which looks quite nice.

I stayed here at the 25th of December (2017) and this was the best hostel of my travels through Andalusia. The employers were very nice and the beds were good (clean as well). They have an amazing roof terrace with a nice view of the city.

A nice cozy place to stay. The hostel is centraly situated and it is about 20 or 35 minutes walk from the train/bus station. The staff is marvelous. There's supermarket at 5 minutes walk. The kitchen is clean and they have a rooftop terrace. The only downside is I had some probleme with the shower because it keeps switching from cold to hot.

Very nice place. Quite comfortable, there is a lot of space, Nice kitchen, terrace and a patio. The only thing I did not like was that you always need to ring a Bell when you want to get in the hostel. I think i Will come back.

The entire corridor was unlit, and walking back to the room at the end at night was almost completely dark unless you used your phone's flashlight. There was its own underground parking lot, but it was a paid parking lot.

The staff were incredibly kind! Comfortable beds, a great location, and although simple, it's very comfortable. Since our taxi, which we had booked 40 minutes earlier, hadn't arrived and we were going to miss our train, they gave us a ride to the station (they were with someone using a walker).

I found a great price, I don't know if it's because almost no one goes to Córdoba in August and it's considered low season. The rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice. The hostel is very close to the historic center. I don't recommend using the hotel parking for two reasons: because you have to drive all the way through the center of Córdoba on pedestrian streets at 10 km/h, constantly...

The hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, with lovely courtyards, a traditional yet updated style, and everything is spotless. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. A very pleasant atmosphere, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for two nights. Great location for all the best places in Cordoba. It's basic, but comfortable, clean and friendly. We had room 306 which was really quiet with 2 comfortable single beds. Good air con and wifi. Bathroom is small but shower very good. Nice big towels. Staff really nice. Honesty bar up on roof terrace is a nice touch. We have just spent three nights at Carpe diem and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was perfectly comfortable and well cleaned. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting the sights of cordoba as well as the wide variety of bars and restaurants. Not need to look anywhere else this is a great hotel

What a lovely hotel! It’s in a great location, easy to walk to from the train station and is in the heart of the old town. The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. Great boutique hotel near the Mezquita-Cathedral. We stayed in a junior suite (queen bed and 2 single beds). Beds were comfy and staff were wonderful! We stayed 2 nights and wished we stayed longer!

The hotel is a bit outside the city center (about a 15–20 minute walk), but we had a great stay. The staff were very friendly, and it’s possible to leave your car at the hotel, they take care of the parking. The pool was very pleasant, and the breakfast was excellent.

Overall it met our needs Hotel was good. The service from the staff was fabulous. The stay would have been great except for the location of the room. Outside the bedroom window was a pub which closed at midnight. It was very noisy. The staff did their best to help. I would stay there again but not in the rooms above the pub.
