Great place, great people, great coworking area, and great pricing.
I've been to this hostel a few times, and have really appreciated it every single time. The people who work there are very nice and helpful and the place is very well-located. You can reach the main square and the cathedral in a few minutes by foot.
The rooms are tidy, and well-lit. Each room has lockers with combination locks for you to put your stuff. The room I stayed in (4 beds) had additional lockers where you could add your own lock, which is also convenient if you prefer that.
In the evenings, they offer you a free glass of sangría in the living room (and you can also buy an international dinner), which is a great opportunity to meet other travelers. We would usually meet there and then go out for tapas.
For digital nomads, this is the place to be as they have a coworking area with fast fiber-optic internet, and also a mini call boot if you need to make calls. I never had an issue with the internet, it works better than in my place.
I live in Granada now, but continue to visit the place, just for the coffee shop, the people, and the vibes.

Although I arrived before check-in, it was raining and I couldn’t go out, so I really appreciated that they let me wait in the common area until my room was ready.

Super lovely and cozy and gorgeous place to stay. Very homey and sweet. Pretty tasty breakfast too! Slept lots :)
Highlight was the really actually amazing half 3-D art staircase walls and the really lovely twins that work there! They are both super kind chill sweet peoples with really honest recommendations on where to go. Would love to return one day :)

We had a lovely stay at Eco Hostel Granada. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and truly eco-friendly, which makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always happy to give recommendations or assist with anything you need.
The hostel is very clean, well organised, and thoughtfully designed, with great communal areas that make it easy to relax or meet other travellers.
The location is perfect — close enough to walk to the main sights, yet quiet and peaceful at night.
You can really feel the care put into sustainability and guest experience. It’s an ideal place whether you’re travelling solo, with friends, or as a family. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada.

This was my first hostel experience and it was amazing! The staff were all very nice, the bathroom and bedrooms were clean. The vibe and aesthetic of the lobby was so cute. They had family dinners, games, free sangria, and tours offered! It’s in a great location, very walkable from centro. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at ECO Hostel because the reviews mentioned it was both social and a good place to get some work done. And that turned out to be true! They organize a family dinner every evening for €10 with different dishes each time, and there’s almost always free sangria on the fourth floor (where you also get a great view of the city). The ground floor and the back stairway are beautifully decorated. A small detail, but one I really appreciated.
I’d definitely recommend adding breakfast for €4.50, since you get a proper barista coffee and several options to choose from like bread with hummus, eggs, or yogurt with chocolate muesli.
For my fellow digital nomads: the Wi-Fi wasn’t always perfectly stable, which made meetings a bit tricky. But outside of that it worked fine.
Most of the staff were really friendly, especially the English guy and the slightly older woman. Unfortunately there was one girl who seemed unhappy to be there, and several guests mentioned the same thing: if you didn’t speak Spanish, she could be quite short or rude. I had a similar experience myself.

Location wise is excellent, in central and close to a bus station. Private bathroom for each room is a plus instead of one centralized bathroom for all. There is also a common space downstairs. Staff are gorgeous. A cafe is also downstairs if anyone fancy a breakfast or dinner. The hostel is also a host of many activities.
