Granada, Pl. del Guitarrista Manuel Cano, 2, Ronda (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Well located and central. Good facilities and a nice room. Definitely worth repeating.
Very nice hotel with all the usual amenities present. Didn't try their breakfast but had dinner there which was okish. Staff courteous & always ready to help. Not far from the city centre. We walked there and sounds but there are easy connections via taxi, uber, bus etc. Really enjoyed our stay there.
We didn’t stay at the hotel but booked their spa experience and it was absolutely amazing. Their pools and saunas are very personal and only shares with a few people so it was very nice and chill. Personal almost. We also booked their massage. Celia and Javi were really good! My mom don’t speak any English or Spanish but Celia was very caring and nice and made sure that my mom was relaxing and enjoying...
It offers excellent value for money. The breakfast is decent, and the parking facilities and location are very convenient. It's a bit far from downtown, but that's okay.
Convenient location. But the hotel is quite old-fashioned where lighting in the bathroom is not sufficient.
The hotel is huge, and we received excellent service from the reception staff, the dining room staff, and the cleaning staff. The room was very spacious, with a main bedroom and a separate area with two additional beds. The only drawback was the soundproofing; we could hear the constant traffic on the avenue and people talking late at night. The distance to the city center is about 15 minutes, but...

The service is good and the breakfast is also excellent. But the hotel charges the client car parking fee of Euro 18
We had booked the Carmen hotel but had difficulties getting access to the hotel due road restrictions and police not allowing us access to the road in which the hotel was in. We came across The Congress Hotel, where the staff were very helpful in moving our booking from the Barcelo Carmen to the Congress with ease. I would like to say a big thank you to the reception staff who were always smiling and...
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We especially want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Alvaro Alba at the front desk. The room offered a stunning view...
The hotel rooms on higher floors had decent views, and the breakfast was plentiful. However, the receptionist, a young woman, was extremely inexperienced and rude. She didn't greet or say goodbye, and offered no explanation whatsoever. She was as cold and unfriendly as a government employee. I suggest they improve their staff training, since the receptionist is the first person guests encounter upon...
We came here for New year's eve 2025 and had a wonderful stay . . this is our 2nd time at a Barcelo hotel and we think we are becoming loyal to them as we didn't know about this brand / chain before . . Also a big mention to the reception staff Maria and definitely also the two gentlemen whose names I forgot but who helped us so much with ideas for where to go on New year's eve , where to eat and booking...

The location is pretty good, and the facilities are decent, but the hotel still has quite a few issues. When I first opened the window, there was a pungent sewer smell, so I quickly closed it. (It was an interior-facing room). I thought the smell wouldn't linger in the room, but when I came back from dinner, the entire room reeked. I contacted Trip.com to communicate with the hotel, and Trip.com was...
The hotel's location is unbeatable, right across from El Corte Inglés with plenty of dining options nearby, and it's convenient for visiting attractions. The rooms are spacious, perfect for both adults and children. Google Maps can be misleading when navigating to the hotel, often directing you down a very narrow alleyway when the hotel is actually on the main street. I recommend navigating to El Corte...
Poor experience in this hotel. First, the hotel has multiple buildings and they did not inform us which set of elevators we should use. Next, the wifi-password they provided was outdated, and they gave us new login details only after we went back down and asked for it. The bed is extremely squeaky, and the curtains do not cover the window at all, making the curtains redundant, and blinding us with...
The location and surroundings are excellent. From the balcony, you can see the snowy mountains and the Alhambra. Directly across the street downstairs is the bus stop for the airport, which is super convenient. The #33 bus goes directly from the train station to the hotel. The only downside is that the room still smells like new装修 (renovation), otherwise everything else was perfect.
I forgot a shirt when checking out, and honestly, I thought it was gone for good. But I decided to try my luck and contacted Trip.com customer service. They immediately reached out to the hotel and informed me that the staff had safely kept it for me. Since I was already in Madrid, I had to find someone to pick it up. The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, and the rooms are surprisingly large. There's a microwave for heating food, a large supermarket right next door, and McDonald's and other restaurants nearby. The bus stop is a short walk away.
The hotel has a 24 hour check in which is great for those who are arriving late, it’s close to the sports area of Granada and to the shopping Mall Nevada.  The hotel furniture is dated and needs refurbishing, one lift was not working on my trip which meant you has to walk to the opposite side of the hotel to use a lift.   The cafe was not open during my visit. There’s vending machines available to...
Whilst the corridors in the hotel need updated the room itself was great. We were in room 512 with twin beds which were the most comfortable beds. We needed to ask for extra pillows but that was no problem. It might be an idea to provide extra pillows in each room and put them in the upper shelf of the wardrobe. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that. But the food from the bar area was...
The hotel felt more like a large office building than a hotel. The staff were professional and answered questions in both Spanish and English. The carpeted hallways outside the rooms really need to cleaned. The food in the restaurant was hot when it was supposed to be with a decent variety. They had fruit, yogurt, cereal and eggs and a large variety of cheeses and sliced meets. I found that in...
My experience at Abades Nevada Palace Hotel was excellent from start to finish. It's alright, but the decor is a bit dated. There's no complimentary tea, and the minibar is chargeable. Overall, it's not bad, but for a hotel of this level, it's really just average.
Lovely stay near the center of Granada. While the hotel looks a bit sparse on the inside, the building is beautiful and the architecture inside is very nice as well. The rooms were comfortable and this is the best air conditioner in Spain! The WiFi was also very strong and fast. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear but everything is clean and working. The shower is the trickiest I’ve...
I liked the hotel; it was clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and there was parking. The pool was cool, but it was nice to relax by.
The room was ok but the whole hotel remembers its better days. The pool is open since 14 Sept. Although we asked for the double bed we received two twin beds joined together. Too bad. Nice location to get to the city centre within 15-20 mins to the cathedral. Around the hotel there are parking spaces, some are white for free and some are blue for charge in the machines. Sundays are free of charge....
We liked the renovated room, cleanliness, the parking is a problem sometimes. Front desk very helpful. We had to pay for the parking because it was full!
This is our 5th visit. We just love this hotel. Situated within a 10 minute walk of the town. Flat, so suitable for wheelchair users. The hotel staffe was so friendly and helpful. Nice hotel, great rooftop and bar space on top floor. Service is OK, called reception to ask for slippers they told me to come pick them up... Also shower drain was blocked so water flooded the bathroom, this should have been spotted and fixed by housekeeping.
Excellent location, very spacious rooms with spectacular views from its large terrace, it needs some details of renovation but in general it more than meets the requirements. Very large and comfortable bed
I really liked both the location and the customer service. I will surely repeat it again
Despite the facilities the hotel offers, it is quite economical.
Good location, acceptable facilities, very correct cleaning service, one observation is that the smell of the carpet is difficult to hide

Lovely hotel very close to Al Hambra Reception staff are very friendly and helpful Beautiful terrace Nice and quiet area Lovely for treks up the Al Hambra hill Can reach the central area by walking down or the buses which charge nominally or get a taxi
We had a very pleasant stay at Porcel Alixares Hotel in Granada. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Alhambra, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel is set in a quiet area with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
Just locates nearby the La Alhambra but it takes some time to reach by riding the city bus. The room was spacious unexpectedly as it seemed small from the photo. Yet some of the small ants were found near the sink. Bleaches were used instantly from the housekeeper to solve the problems which reflect good service from the hotel staff. A good choice for guests who aim for going to the La Alhambra
The hotel is located directly opposite the Alhambra, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The room was spacious and even had a terrace. I absolutely loved it! It was clean, and the service was excellent. Very satisfied.
Staying at Hotel Alixares and visiting the Alhambra was absolutely perfect! The main entrance to the attraction is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself doesn't have many parking spaces, but the car park across from the Alhambra is super convenient at 22.9 Euros per day. Stayed here last week. I'll just give my honest review for this hotel. Check-in is a breeze. I took one of the suites in The Level and I felt welcomed by the staff immediately. I marked this down a star on service because the reception staff never gave me any kind of reception on the countless times I passed by looking for eye contact. Great location, only a 7-8 minute walk to the Alhambra. The restaurant also has beautiful views and the hotel has an Arabian feel to it. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are showing their age. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the front desk seemed a bit indifferent, possibly due to a high number of guests checking in.
So, so satisfied! Definitely book a city view room; the view alone is worth the price. I initially booked a larger, newly renovated room, but when I got in, it faced the street, and the bathtub was visible to passersby. This is a 5 star hotel on all aspects other than 3 very important ones. 1: There is no gym or weight room. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this size. 2: There is no room designated temperature control, so you are at the mercy of the general hotel’s temperature. Spent a night there, good choice, walkable distance to city centre, for parking you can use near underground garage for 10 EUR a day (if you pay through parking web sites). Our room was situated into inner courtyard (seems that hotel is made from more buildings), so don’t expect some city view 🙂 but room was clean, a bit smaller shower, but reasonable. Nice hotel staff. All fine 👍
Room was nice but one of the smallest; bed also small and first night was not nice; warm water sometimes cold, in morning noisy airco outside. Breakfast is good with excellent yoghurt. Swimming pool is small but refreshing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is not possible with the hotel and a 3 day stay is expensive when parking in a garage.

The room was much bigger than what you'd typically find in Barcelona. Right across the street, there's a Chinese supermarket. The hotel is really close to the city center, and Granada University is right next door. Plus, there's a bakery nearby that's way cheaper than the cafe attached to the hotel.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, a former monastery, and its location is fantastic, right in the heart of Granada. The service was excellent. As a Marriott Platinum member, I received a complimentary breakfast and was upgraded to a Junior Suite. The breakfast was à la carte, delicious, and the service was great too!
Hotel was ok. Room seriously noisy with random bumping and clicking from what I assume is HVAC? Then at 9pm loud music starts when I’m trying to get my jet lagged self to sleep. It would be fine if I had not asked at least 5x to get a quiet room away from noise. Well, it appears I’m adjacent to a live band. No sleep anytime soon. The hotel feels understaffed and under resourced. Would not return. This...
Stayed here in 2018 (not sure how it is after the pandemic), and my friend and I absolutely loved it. Good walking area (about a 25-minute walk to Alhambra- but we enjoy walking), close to bars and restaurants. Beautiful room with an old Spanish aesthetic. Can't speak to other folks' experiences, but we loved it.
We were upgraded to Suite 513, which was fantastic - two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, separated by a comfortable living area that made the space feel both luxurious and practical. The staff were consistently helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel grounds are absolutely gorgeous, blending historic charm with a serene, elegant atmosphere. A truly memorable...
The front desk of the hotel is divided into separate people. The ones I met in the morning were very polite and enthusiastic, but the ones I met in the afternoon were obviously much worse. The hotel room is very small even if the larger room with 1.8m bed is booked. You can just visit the monastery and have a meal. I feel that the 3200 yuan for a night is not worth it.
Gorgeous hotel. I wished we stayed longer here. The decorations, the courtyard, and our room are very beautiful. Only small problems with the awkward bathtub door and squeaky bed. The staff was very nice to check us in at 11pm. They did hold our luggage after we checked out to explore a bit more, which was very helpful for us. The hotel was not very close to the train station (uber 12min), and about...
