The service is good and the breakfast is also excellent. But the hotel charges the client car parking fee of Euro 18
We had booked the Carmen hotel but had difficulties getting access to the hotel due road restrictions and police not allowing us access to the road in which the hotel was in. We came across The Congress Hotel, where the staff were very helpful in moving our booking from the Barcelo Carmen to the Congress with ease. I would like to say a big thank you to the reception staff who were always smiling and...
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The hotel exceeded all our expectations with its perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic experience. We especially want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Alvaro Alba at the front desk. The room offered a stunning view...
The hotel rooms on higher floors had decent views, and the breakfast was plentiful. However, the receptionist, a young woman, was extremely inexperienced and rude. She didn't greet or say goodbye, and offered no explanation whatsoever. She was as cold and unfriendly as a government employee. I suggest they improve their staff training, since the receptionist is the first person guests encounter upon...
We came here for New year's eve 2025 and had a wonderful stay . . this is our 2nd time at a Barcelo hotel and we think we are becoming loyal to them as we didn't know about this brand / chain before . . Also a big mention to the reception staff Maria and definitely also the two gentlemen whose names I forgot but who helped us so much with ideas for where to go on New year's eve , where to eat and booking...
Room has terrible smells. We had to change room twice.

Granada, C. de la Sultana, 3, Genil (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map

The hotel lobby is luxurious and grand, and the rooms are surprisingly large. There's a microwave for heating food, a large supermarket right next door, and McDonald's and other restaurants nearby. The bus stop is a short walk away.
The hotel has a 24 hour check in which is great for those who are arriving late, it’s close to the sports area of Granada and to the shopping Mall Nevada.  The hotel furniture is dated and needs refurbishing, one lift was not working on my trip which meant you has to walk to the opposite side of the hotel to use a lift.   The cafe was not open during my visit. There’s vending machines available to...
Whilst the corridors in the hotel need updated the room itself was great. We were in room 512 with twin beds which were the most comfortable beds. We needed to ask for extra pillows but that was no problem. It might be an idea to provide extra pillows in each room and put them in the upper shelf of the wardrobe. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on that. But the food from the bar area was...
The hotel felt more like a large office building than a hotel. The staff were professional and answered questions in both Spanish and English. The carpeted hallways outside the rooms really need to cleaned. The food in the restaurant was hot when it was supposed to be with a decent variety. They had fruit, yogurt, cereal and eggs and a large variety of cheeses and sliced meets. I found that in...
My experience at Abades Nevada Palace Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, with spacious and very clean rooms that provide great comfort after a long day. The staff were professional, polite, and always willing to assist with any request, which made the stay even more pleasant. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city center and public...

It's alright, but the decor is a bit dated. There's no complimentary tea, and the minibar is chargeable. Overall, it's not bad, but for a hotel of this level, it's really just average.
Lovely stay near the center of Granada. While the hotel looks a bit sparse on the inside, the building is beautiful and the architecture inside is very nice as well. The rooms were comfortable and this is the best air conditioner in Spain! The WiFi was also very strong and fast. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear but everything is clean and working. The shower is the trickiest I’ve...
I liked the hotel; it was clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and there was parking. The pool was cool, but it was nice to relax by.
The room was ok but the whole hotel remembers its better days. The pool is open since 14 Sept. Although we asked for the double bed we received two twin beds joined together. Too bad. Nice location to get to the city centre within 15-20 mins to the cathedral. Around the hotel there are parking spaces, some are white for free and some are blue for charge in the machines. Sundays are free of charge....
We liked the renovated room, cleanliness, the parking is a problem sometimes. Front desk very helpful. We had to pay for the parking because it was full!
This is our 5th visit. We just love this hotel. Situated within a 10 minute walk of the town. Flat, so suitable for wheelchair users. The hotel staffe was so friendly and helpful. We asked for aids on the room as my husband has disabilities. They arrived promptly. Parking is a must here in Granada and the hotel accepts reservations for parking. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. With...

Nice hotel, great rooftop and bar space on top floor. Service is OK, called reception to ask for slippers they told me to come pick them up... Also shower drain was blocked so water flooded the bathroom, this should have been spotted and fixed by housekeeping.
Excellent location, very spacious rooms with spectacular views from its large terrace, it needs some details of renovation but in general it more than meets the requirements. Very large and comfortable bed
I really liked both the location and the customer service. I will surely repeat it again
Despite the facilities the hotel offers, it is quite economical.
Good location, acceptable facilities, very correct cleaning service, one observation is that the smell of the carpet is difficult to hide
The staff was nice. The hotel location was good. The room was spacious. The view from our room was fantastic. We could see the Alhambra from our window! Everything was perfect.

The size was decent, and the staff spoke good English and were very friendly and welcoming.
Very convenient at Granada’s city center. Room is clean & cozy.
Stayed here last week. I'll just give my honest review for this hotel. Check-in is a breeze. I took one of the suites in The Level and I felt welcomed by the staff immediately. They're friendly, polite and made me feel at home. The room is expectedly big, especially for a solo traveler. The shower room area is HUGE, you can literally sleep in there and still have space for your luggage. Very modern...
I marked this down a star on service because the reception staff never gave me any kind of reception on the countless times I passed by looking for eye contact. I received the odd ‘Ola!’ but most of all they had their heads down or were immersed in conversation with each other. It’s a poor impression. If you wanted a hot breakfast it was nearly always cold and not of the greatest quality. The one...
Central hotel, extremely convenient. Modern, clean, and well-maintained rooms, with a fantastic walk-in shower in the bathroom. Breakfast has everything you need, nicely presented and with a good variety. The Nervio restaurant by...

A great stay! The lovely reception has upgrade our room. Good location, but quiet. Bedding are comfortable. Very big room.
Hotel with a good breakfast and ample parking. It is located directly in front of the marina, and we enjoyed a nice view of the sea and the Rock of Gibraltar. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to visit Gibraltar, as it is within walking distance. However, the room was quite dated, as is the hotel overall. The room was so spacious and clean. All the staff were kind. This hotel located downtown , so we could walk to shops and restaurants . There is no lights around a table.
I would like to recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, whatever age. Food is great, very plentiful buffet with all dietary requirements considered. Drinks were a fair price too. Great location, only a 7-8 minute walk to the Alhambra. The restaurant also has beautiful views and the hotel has an Arabian feel to it. However, the hotel is a bit old and the facilities are showing their age. The restaurant staff were very friendly, but the front desk seemed a bit indifferent, possibly due to a high number of guests checking in.
So, so satisfied! Definitely book a city view room; the view alone is worth the price. I initially booked a larger, newly renovated room, but when I got in, it faced the street, and the bathtub was visible to passersby. I negotiated a change to a smaller room with an older bathroom, but the city view was amazing, and it even had a small balcony where you could stand outside and look around. It was...
overall, it is a 4 out of 5 experience
Overall, the property is beautiful and the old palace aesthetic fits perfectly within Granada. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, pleasant views, and high-quality, upscale bathrooms. We found the staff to be very friendly, but seemed stretched a bit thin considering the hotel was very busy and there were large groups that required extra attention. The breakfast was standard. The bar food...
This is a 5 star hotel on all aspects other than 3 very important ones. 1: There is no gym or weight room. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable for a hotel of this size. 2: There is no room designated temperature control, so you are at the mercy of the general hotel’s temperature. We went in December while the outdoor temp was around 10 C, and the indoor temperature was probably around 2...

Lovely hotel very close to Al Hambra Reception staff are very friendly and helpful Beautiful terrace Nice and quiet area Lovely for treks up the Al Hambra hill Can reach the central area by walking down or the buses which charge nominally or get a taxi
We had a very pleasant stay at Porcel Alixares Hotel in Granada. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Alhambra, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel is set in a quiet area with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
Just locates nearby the La Alhambra but it takes some time to reach by riding the city bus. The room was spacious unexpectedly as it seemed small from the photo. Yet some of the small ants were found near the sink. Bleaches were used instantly from the housekeeper to solve the problems which reflect good service from the hotel staff. A good choice for guests who aim for going to the La Alhambra
The hotel is located directly opposite the Alhambra, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The room was spacious and even had a terrace. I absolutely loved it! It was clean, and the service was excellent. Very satisfied.
Staying at Hotel Alixares and visiting the Alhambra was absolutely perfect! The main entrance to the attraction is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Hotel was ok. Room seriously noisy with random bumping and clicking from what I assume is HVAC? Then at 9pm loud music starts when I’m trying to get my jet lagged self to sleep. It would be fine if I had not asked at least 5x to get a quiet room away from noise. Well, it appears I’m adjacent to a live band. No sleep anytime soon. Can't speak to other folks' experiences, but we loved it.
We were upgraded to Suite 513, which was fantastic - two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, separated by a comfortable living area that made the space feel both luxurious and practical. The front desk of the hotel is divided into separate people. The ones I met in the morning were very polite and enthusiastic, but the ones I met in the afternoon were obviously much worse. Really modern hotel near the train station. Room was lovely and the staff were great...offered us a breakfast picnic because we we're leaving before breakfast! Lovely gastropub with good selection of affordable cocktails.
This hotel was vert close to the train station and very reasonably priced. They had all the facilities we needed, a restaurant with great service and helpful staff. Reception staff were exceptional and helped me print rickets as well. Would highly recommend this hotel if you're travelling to/from the station in granada.
The hotel was basic but well located close to the long-distance train station, right outside a bus stop that would take you straight into the historic centre, and not far from the Metro either. The staff were very friendly although the hotel was a little run down in appearance.
Great hotel. Located near granada rail station. Bus stop in front of hotel. You have to carry your bag up the stairs to the recepcionist. Breakfast is normal. Spent 3 night the breakfast menu was always the same. Stay at room 210. The toilet is cracking. There is something weird come from that crack. The bidet is okay. Most of all the hotel is great. I will recommend
Very close to the centre, the hotel is lovely, always clean. Staff is lovely, Ana was wonderful and such a great person of staff, made our stay that much more personal. Only issue we had was parking, if you’re trying to find some for free it’s quite difficult .

Good service and hospitality, enjoy good moment there , appreciate
We had a great experience and thanks for all staff. We went to one year old baby and it was very easy to go Alhambra. Thanks to staff we were very comfortable with our baby. We will come back soon.
Lovely hotel right next to the Alhambra, they gave us a free bottle of wine for booking the suite, very reasonable price for how beautiful the hotel was, would recommend
Extremely clean, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were all incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk from the Alhambra!
This hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Alhambra, which is a plus since it's right by the entrance to the attraction. Beyond that, there's not much to recommend. The breakfast wasn't good, and the service was just okay. Honestly, after experiencing this, I'd highly recommend staying at the Alhambra Palace Hotel instead, it's totally worth it. If they have availability, don't even hesitate....
The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was comfortable, clean, and tidy. The hotel environment was quite good, and the service was excellent. Great value for money!

Clean and quiet in a good location on a large pedestrian square just outside the  old town. Good breakfast. Not much character but overall pleasant and good value.
Clean room, comfortable bed, good location, nice staff, good wifi.
Excellent location, close to the city center, good access from both the bus and train stations
Stayed for 3 nights, great location for all the tourist sites, restaurants/bars and shopping. We had a great view from our room (412) and it was really spacious, clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, which are refreshed daily. The flooring in our room was slightly damaged. Real bonus to have the underground parking on site. The staff were so pleasant and friendly. The breakfast...
beautiful hotel in a beautiful place, myself and my partner were here for several nights. we used the spa and pools and loved every moment of it. the rooms were stunning, spotless and spacious, we couldn't hear anything from any other rooms which was also a plus. the staff were friendly (aside from one experience but we were coming for breakfast with only 15 minutes remaining so we do not blame him...
The hotel room was sufficient and clean. We arrived at night but there was no problem in check-in process thanks to 24h reception service.
