We were there for a few days, the room was spacious just fyi, if you are not going with your partner, the room i was in did not have a lockable door for the bathroom.

Stayed for three nights over a long weekend and highly recommended. Great location, warm welcome and all you need for a city break. Bedroom clean, adequate and comfortable. Plenty of places to eat and rest next to the main food market. Five mins walk to the train stop for the airport. Will book again

Had an absolute great time!! The location is perfect for everything. We spent the whole afternoon searching for the castle and cathedral and finally realised it was ony down the road!! Definitely coming back, we missed a lot due to the weather not being too good at the time, but was expected. I love it there and love more to coming back. Only thing I missed was finding the beach!!!

Our stay at Malaga Boutique Hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The reception lady was exceptionally helpful. She took the time to guide us around the city, provided a detailed map, and even upgraded our room upon arrival. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by plenty of local eateries and within easy walking distance of key attractions. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was very cosy, clean, and comfortable. A truly pleasant stay with warm hospitality, highly recommended!

Great staff, very friendly, cleaning crew is awesome. Very good location, but look out if your room is to the front, because you have a Bus stop right in front of your windows with running Busses most of the time. Rooms are not very big and WiFi sucks at times, but A/C worked fine and there is a fridge.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip to Málaga.
Comfortable rooms, plentiful breakfast offering and friendly staff. Requested the room cleaning on day two and sadly towels weren't changed as hoped but didn't impact stay.
Perfect location and would happily stay here again and recommend!

We were greeted by very knowledgeable, friendly staff. She gave us several suggestions and designated on a map highlight for local attractions. We found our room very comfortable and clean. The area around the hotel was very walkable, safe and clean.

From the check in till now everything perfect, the staff are very friendly the smell and cleanliness of the hotel is great, good breakfast, daily full amenities... Great location 10 minutes from Old centre, many restaurants nearby... 👌 Room is soundproof with balcony and very clean.

Our stay here was, on the surface, quite pleasant. The room was undeniably small (let’s call it “economically sized”), but clean and with everything we needed. The staff were polite, warm, and attentive—exactly the kind of charm that makes you forgive a bed that consumes most of the floor space.
But here’s the problem: I left behind a very expensive YSL, worth nearly $4,000, in the room when we departed at dawn for a flight. Not a hairbrush, not a phone charger, but a designer bag. In every respectable hotel I’ve stayed at, when something valuable is found, the guest is contacted immediately. I’ve had emails about forgotten hairdryers, but here? Silence.
No call. No email. No message. Nothing.
For days, I was convinced the bag had been stolen en route to the airport. I contacted drivers, retraced steps, and stressed endlessly—only to finally call the hotel and hear, oh-so-casually, “Yes, it’s here.” Really? You had my reservation, my name, my email, my phone number, and decided not to say a word? What was the plan—wait me out until the “holding period” passed?
I eventually arranged a courier to retrieve it, but the whole episode left a bitter aftertaste. Hospitality is supposed to inspire trust, not suspicion.
So, would I recommend this hotel? For cleanliness and sweet staff, yes. For safeguarding valuables? Absolutely not.

This is our second time staying at this Hotel. We got the bus from the airport as it's so close to the bus stop. We arrived early and the lovely lady in reception checked us in around 1pm, which was great. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Staff are very nice, we have room only but lots of place's around the hotel to get breakfast. Supermarket is right next to hotel for water etc. Will definitely stay again if visiting Malaga in the future.

Good food, service not the best but no reason to complain

The interior has charm but the food steals the show. Classic Spanish and Malagueña food: robust flavor and inexpensive - but not cheap enough to compromise on the quality of ingredients.
A side street hides off Calle Larissa hides this gem but you’d be remiss to pass it by in favor of the more prominent and overpriced restaurants on the Calle. This is a superb place to dine whether dinner or lunch.
