San Sebastian, Paseo De Salamanca 10 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room has a slightly unusual shape, but it wasn’t an issue at all for a solo traveler. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The location is very convenient, especially for hopping between nearby tapas bars.
The location of this hotel is unbeatable if you’re in San Sebastián to explore the culinary delights of the old town. We opted for a sea view room and it was worth every penny. Waking up to the waves crashing against the rocks, right outside our window was such a special experience.
The only downside, and this did have quite a negative impact on our stay, was that the bed was so hard! I’ve stayed...
Great location. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice room with plenty of hot water. Comfy beds. Would stay again but not in the same room. Such a shame about the noise from the working garage below our room (102) early morning until late evening.
The room was spotless, and the staff was a great pleasure to deal with. This hotel is a real surprise. Its humble aspect is contradicted by superb attentiveness and dramatic location.
Great location across from the sea and walkway. In Old Town with all the history, shops, restaurants, bars and lots of Pintxos! Staff was very nice and arranged a taxi for us for an early morning ride to the train station. Room was great with a wonderfuk shower and fluffy towels!
What a gorgeous property, Beautiful furnishing, clean, friendly with wonderfull views of the ocean

Clean big room with sea view & courteous reception staff
The view was stunning and is hotel is close to main attractions.
Quaint, old fashioned little hotel, great location on a quuer street across from beach & near funicolure. But noisy inside, walls are paper thin, plumbing was loud & rattling as was fridge in my room & curtains were covered in mould.
Location and staff were very good. They lack food, meals, vending machines options. The breakfast offered was not the best.
This is a true gem ! its a very nice property located across the street from the beach and a beautiful promenade. 20 min walk to the old town or 9 Euro by taxi ( I am sure there is a bus). Very nice and spacious room and bathroom. Staff is fantastic ( both friendly and knowledgably) Great dining options around the corner. I hope to come back
this hotel is very nice. They don't guarantee parking, but we were able to park in the driveway and leave the key with the staff, and they managed to move cars around and fit everyone in, which was great.
We had a little balcony, and could see the view, which I recommend requesting.
As much as I love this hotel, I would have preferred to be closer to the old town where all the better dining options...

Other than a lack of parking in the old city, this place was fantastic. Great lication, well appointed and comfortable rooms.
This is my 3rd visit to Donostia so I have some experience with hotels, apts and pensions in the Old Town. I chose Ur-Alde for its convenient location, great value for price and excellent support before our arrival. Aitor and Mikel continued to provide 5-star support during our stay. Thank you for your patience and stamina! I needed a lot of help, when slow-travelling with my elderly mother.

We stayed in the Amsterdam room which is beautifully decorated and furnished. We stayed 3 nights and were very comfortable in this spacious room. The location is cental to the sights and we were able to walk everywhere. We will stay here again and strongly recommend it.
You get a room smack bang in the centre of the old town which is great, however it seems very much set up for couples so if you're travelling with a mate like I was, you may consider somewhere else. Overall though it was very convenient with totally autonomous entry and egress. Desk is supervised between 0900-1500
Very nice boutique hotel - four nice rooms excellently located in the old town. The rooms are nicely equipt. Very good service from the hotel manager. Though the price is at bit on the high side compared to what you get. Therefor i have only given 4 star rating
This place is a hidden gem! Right in the middle of Old Town….surrounded by restaurants and bars…super comfortable bed, wonderful shower, and the reception staff were always ready to help. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again….

I arrived late for my meeting downtown.... The guy at reception told me to go and he would arrange my room for my return. I arrived back late at night and everything was ready... The next morning I met a third person at the reception and how nice and welcoming they all were... Rooms are tidy and comfy... 10 minutes walk from downtown. I'll be back and big thanks to everyone working at reception. Best...
Free onsite parking. A bit of a hike to the town center but manageable
Basic, clean, simple and good location. A little frustrating that we could not control the room temperature in the room and when I asked at check out they said ohhh...we control it here & the ceiling fan in simply decorative. Helpful information to post in the room or communicate at check-in.
Room was clean & modest. Great location and tons of parking.
Friendly adaptable staff ensured a very pleasant stay. We also appreciated the free parking available to guests.
We originally booked Monte Ulia for 2 nights, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it for an extra night! The hotel is in a great location—about a 20–25 minute walk to the Gros area of San Sebastián, and if you want to go further into town, there are several buses that get you there in just 10–15 minutes.
A big highlight of our stay was the service. Jon, one of the receptionists (and the...

Good location. Basic motel on the train line. There was no aircon and we had to sleep with the windows open so it was noisy. The staff where very helpful
I just went there for a coffee while i was waiting for the train to arrive. Nice coffee in a cafe with some charm, old style but it has everything that is expected to have. Clean toilets.
Great service, kind and informative, attached restaurant, and right next to Renfre train and bus station. Will stay here again.
Good location, clean room, friendly staff and good price (for 2 people for 5 nights) - recommended if are staying in San Sebastian

small rooms, weird double-beds, but great
Friendly staff, outside season they might get you in early if possible. Also, being just a few meters away from the beach is priceless. Don't skip on waking up super early to see sunrise on the beach.
Breakfast is good by could improve a little bit, but isn't hotel's main service, so is understandable.
I'd recommend it for someone that wants to be centric but not in the main busy area
Wifi was slow and inconsistent.
Superb location
Great location. Really central and just across the road from the beach.
My room was probably one of the least expensive but was quite dark with no view and little outside light.
Reception guys were both really friendly.
Not really a hotel with facilities if that’s what you’re looking for but great as a base.
Overpriced for standard and size of room
Great location, friendly helpful staff & very clean.BUT, room was TINY, no bin in bedroom, no extractor in bathroom which was so small I could reach both walls with my outstretched hands. No lobby downstairs. Very expensive for this kind of accommodation
Two days prior to arrival a 260 Euro charge was applied for this booking to my credit card. This was an equivalent of approximately $400(Cdn). It is for a single room with a double bed, that was booked about 2 months earlier. I was in Pamplona prior, with a schedule change and had contemplated coming to San Sebastián a day earlier. Via the ******* App I could have secured tha same single room for ...

Very nice hotel at city center, very close to la viña, reception is not available in thr afternoon, but all well establislhed, there is also a cofffee machine at entrance, rooms are enough spacious, bath clean
Quiet, clean and well located, And very helpful staff. Just make sure you check in online in advance if arriving out of hours as it won't be staffed. But it's a great place to stay, we'll be back
Ideal place for stay, close to many restaurants and also beach. I will definitely recommend it 👌
Modern, high tech & economical hotel with cozy, well maintained rooms. Relatively quiet, friendly help & service at hand. Free coffee and cakes (not gluten free) as well as wifi. It's a reasonably priced place to stay. The location isn't bad either.

All amazing, the staff, the room. Great location. All you that you need for a great days in San Sebastián, in this place you can find on it.
Overall really good , could have wished for a better bed but that’s about it! Great location
Great hotel in a great location. Staff were lovely.. only problem was as we were on the ground floor.. sleep interrupted by people arriving late at night as not great sound proofing. Great to have on tap coffeee and nice seating area at the front unfortunately cleaner set off alarm in morning which also effected sleep.. otherwise good place to stay for the price.
It was a very cozy, small hotel.
Please note that the front desk is only open from 9am to 9pm.
Breakfast is not included, but it's not a problem as you can help yourself to light bread, fruit, coffee, etc.
The room is in an old building, so the floors are a bit wavy, but it was clean, lovely and lovely with a cute interior.

Beautiful place with the most amazing view in our room and the Villa Favorita team made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast service was below standard. Ignorant young staff, waited for 10 min to get a coffee. Är or even a cutlery. There was just a few other guest. They couldnt refill the buffet, wouldnt even look at us.
Awesome beachfront room and amazing, helpful staff. Very well located and an easy walk to everything.
Having breakfast from the bar with the view of the beach is quite the experience. Outdoor area of the bar provides better view of the beach and people watching. The hotel is a short distance from the The Old Town area and the San Martin Market.
No hotel compared on our trip from Paris to Madrid. The staff was so attentive without ever bothering us. Every inch of the hotel is gorgeous. The views and location are unmatched. Highly recommend

It lacks the services and amenities one would expect from a boutique hotel. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, and even made hostile comments towards us. When paying for a boutique hotel, one expects better service, as well as better toiletries and better room maintenance.
On the positive side: The cleanliness was excellent, the beds are comfortable, and it's very well located.
We stayed at this hotel, which is only about 10 minutes from the old town. The location is excellent, allowing you to enjoy both the new and old towns. The rooms were spacious, and the hotel staff greeted and saw us off in our language. The price wasn't high, and I would definitely like to stay here again!
The front desk was kind and nice
Although it's a little far from the old town, there are cafes and the beach nearby that seem to be popular with locals. It's clean. There's a bar downstairs, but the room is quiet. Excellent hotel - comfortable and lovely staff. Parking available and 25-30min walk to the old town. Very good staff that provided really helpful recommendations.
The hotel is very nice and rooms are modern.
The only issue is the quality of the staff services. We were not treated nice at breakfast nor by the hotel receptionist.
Great stay for San Sebastian - friendly service, provided really good recommendations and within walking distance to the sights in the city, but quiet enough not to be disturbed by the crowds. Safe car parking and was happy to accommodate cars with low clearance at request which was much appreciated
We had a good stay here. The hotel is very clean and the room was very large and well equipped. The bed was among the best I have ever slept in.
For those on a road trip - car park is good. Entrance has a slightly high curb that needs careful approach in any low car, but was OK in our 911. Even as the world's fussiest parker I found a spot that meant I could sleep at night.
Considering the price...
Lovely staff, warm, helpful and welcoming. Excellent location in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastian some 10 min from the beach. Large, very clean, well appointed rooms. Excellent restaurant. Free parking on the hotel premises. A great choice for a quiet boutique hotel within walking distance of all the sites.

I really enjoyed the location and the kindness of the owner. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed talking with other travelers staying at the same inn. The heating doesn't work very well, so it's often cold, and the shared bathrooms might not be suitable for those who are sensitive.

Extremely centrally located Pension at the edge of the old town and a short walk to the beach. Very warm and welcoming staff, however due to it being a Pension, it can be hard to get prompt service. The rooms were adequate and very clean.
