The air con only works certain months a year so when is a really hot day the rooms get so warm, got offered a fan instead.

The balcony was huge, the room was well-arranged, the breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent. The bathroom light was voice-activated, and you could see the city night view from the balcony. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Nice hotel We stayed here a few night and really enjoyed it. The rooms were big enough and it was fairly good value as San Sebastian tends to be really expensive especially in Summer. The hotel was not really walking distance from town center for us, but it was not a problem as we had the car. If we are back in San Sebastian we would definitely come back here.

The room was reasonably clean and new, but the value wasn't great. It was just over 20 square meters, and even with a small bed, it was packed. Fantastic, the location is brilliant, right in front of the beach and 10 min walk to old town, along the beach. the room was spacious, the toilets were new, spotless and modern. gorgeous. bed was really comfy and the bedding were super high quality. well done. we loved it! we’ve asked if they were offering shower room, they said no, i would recommend you explore the idea. we’ll come back!

Well located property for the beach and town and was quiet. Rooms were clean and fresh. Beds were very comfortable and the en-suite shower immaculate. There was a fully equipped gym on site with sauna. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable enough. The walls however, are very thin so all sounds from other rooms and the corridor were very audible at all times.

Without any hesitation, this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious food, and I ended up eating much more than usual. If I ever come back to San Sebastian, I will definitely want to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel room was quite large, with a super big bed. One of the hotel staff was very nice, but they accidentally took my luggage to another room, which startled me. Luckily, they retrieved it for me. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel, which saves you about twenty euros in parking fees, as there's an extra charge for the hotel parking lot. It was very clean. The bathtub was deep and spacious, so I was able to relax. The only thing that was difficult was that we had to climb a long flight of stairs due to a lack of confirmation on our part before checking in, but there was actually an elevator leading to the street, which was very convenient. Everything was perfect. The hotel is a bit old and maybe doesn't deserve 4 stars. But we know that in Spain hotel stars are a bit more overrated than in France. The only problem is that one room wasn't ready when we arrived because our request for a large bed for the 2 rooms had not been taken into account. It's within a 10-minute walk from many of San Sebastian's most fun bars! It's also a great location, just a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal to the airport! The rooms were clean, and I'd definitely stay here again if I visit San Sebastian again.

The room, though on the small side, was themed and really nice. Clean, noise-less, are good points. Reception staff very helpful. I assumed I'd get body lotion as in all *4 but not in this one. We did not try the breakfast as we had committments with other people but overall the stay was +*4. Not excellent as body lotion is a given in a 4 starts.....soryy, that needs improving.

Great value for money, and the decor is quite nice too. While it's a bit far from the old town, getting to the boulevard by bus is very convenient. San Sebastián doesn't have ride-sharing apps like Uber, so if you need a taxi, you'll have to ask the front desk to call one for you.

The hotel is located just a few minutes by bus from the bar area. The exterior looks old, but the interior is very nice and clean. The bed was fluffy and I slept well. There's a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up if you need something. The breakfast selection isn't that extensive, but it was more than adequate. And it was very delicious. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit...

Very happy overall. Hotel ILUNION was our home for our 11 night exploration of San Sebastián. The location was perfect. Less than 5 mins walk from the lovely beach of Onderetta and directly across the road from Kalea Matia where there are local shops, supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops and lots of decent restaurants. There is also public street parking nearby which is very cheap and easy to manage...

We come back every year. The location is fantastic and the hotel has a lot of charm. It's a shame that the breakfast quality is declining. There was a staff error, and they told us there were no plates available at the moment. After we finished, we noticed them bringing out eggs and omelets for other tables. We mentioned it to the staff, as these small details make all the difference.

Got a great last minute deal here. The bus stop is right around the corner into the center (take #19). There is parking onsite but if they run out of spaces there is plenty of street parking available around the corner. 2€ for good cappuccino which is very reasonable considering I just spent 8€ for a horrible tasting cappuccino in a different hotel in France lol. My only comment is how can a "4 star" hotel paying +/-200€ per night not allow you to charge bar or restaurant charges to your room? Good stay but nothing outstanding Spacious room, nice bathroom, good bed although we had twin beds despite requesting double. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The surrounding area didn't make us feel safe though. And the value for money wasn't great compared to many of our other stays in Spain.

Excellent choice! This hotel was a great choice. It has a modern and fresh feel, with very a polite and helpful reception team. The hotel was incredibly clean....which is a wonderful feeling as a guest. The only downside is the location, but it was an easy bus ride to the old town.

The location was excellent, offering easy access to the old town and making it convenient to get around everywhere. The room was clean, and I really liked that the shower had a door.
