Nice hotel We stayed here a few night and really enjoyed it. The rooms were big enough and it was fairly good value as San Sebastian tends to be really expensive especially in Summer. The hotel was not really walking distance from town center for us, but it was not a problem as we had the car. If we are back in San Sebastian we would definitely come back here.

The room was reasonably clean and new, but the value wasn't great. It was just over 20 square meters, and even with a small bed, it was packed. Located close to Monte Igueldo and the Ondarreta Beach, easy to reach by car, however to the old town it takes a while by foot. It's within a 10-minute walk from many of San Sebastian's most fun bars! It's also a great location, just a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal to the airport! The rooms were clean, and I'd definitely stay here again if I visit San Sebastian again.

Besides the obvious, that the proximity to the beach makes for the most incredible views; the rooms and hotel aesthetic are beautiful; the staff are so kind and helpful; the food and drinks are delicious and the bartenders are so sweet and accommodating. New hotel very clean nice rooms and wonderful pool.  It’s 25 min walk to the Centro but there is a bus for two euro and tax 9 euro, in the evening it’s hard te get a taxi and find the bus. WE had to walk back twice.  The door locks make a very hard nice which awakes you in the morning

The hotel room was quite large, with a super big bed. One of the hotel staff was very nice, but they accidentally took my luggage to another room, which startled me. Luckily, they retrieved it for me. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel, which saves you about twenty euros in parking fees, as there's an extra charge for the hotel parking lot. Great location and views. Easy access to the city and beach.

It was very clean. The bathtub was deep and spacious, so I was able to relax. The only thing that was difficult was that we had to climb a long flight of stairs due to a lack of confirmation on our part before checking in, but there was actually an elevator leading to the street, which was very convenient. Everything was perfect. The hotel is a bit old and maybe doesn't deserve 4 stars. But we know that in Spain hotel stars are a bit more overrated than in France. Great value for money, and the decor is quite nice too. While it's a bit far from the old town, getting to the boulevard by bus is very convenient. San Sebastián doesn't have ride-sharing apps like Uber, so if you need a taxi, you'll have to ask the front desk to call one for you.

The hotel is located just a few minutes by bus from the bar area. The exterior looks old, but the interior is very nice and clean. The bed was fluffy and I slept well. There's a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up if you need something. The breakfast selection isn't that extensive, but it was more than adequate. And it was very delicious. Easiest check in and check out I've ever experienced. Advance check in was worth it. It made the process incredibly efficient and straight-forward. The hotel is very well located and the beach was very close nearby so the kids were delighted. Hotel is spotless with very pleasant staff.

Good stay but nothing outstanding Spacious room, nice bathroom, good bed although we had twin beds despite requesting double. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The surrounding area didn't make us feel safe though. And the value for money wasn't great compared to many of our other stays in Spain.

It was my first time staying in this hotel. I felt very good, as if I were at home. The staff were friendly and provided warm service. The hotel's surroundings were good, quiet and convenient for transportation.

Perfect spot to spend a little more and get a suite out of the hustle and bustle of the old town. Bus 38 takes you to town in minutes or it's a 15 minute dander down the riverfront.

Stayed at this hotel recently. The room was booked and paid for two people but unfortunately all items were provided for one person. There is no refrigerator in the room. No slippers. Booking requires 100% prepayment, which may not seem too convenient, especially if you book in advance. My wife and I had a brilliant week in San Sebastion. The hotel was perfect in everyway and we would not hesitate to recommend La Sala Plaza to anyone.

The location was excellent, offering easy access to the old town and making it convenient to get around everywhere. The room was clean, and I really liked that the shower had a door. The private sauna was a huge plus, with unlimited use – I went three times during my three-night stay! The staff were very accommodating, and the cleaning was meticulous; I was thoroughly satisfied.

Property was fine, breakfast fine staff very good. If you require parking make sure you book in advance. There is remote parking very cheap but not straight forward to get a ticket.
