The staff were friendly and cheerful. It's close to La Concha Beach and about a 15-minute leisurely walk to the area with many bars. The bus terminal to Bilbao Airport is also within walking distance, making it very convenient. There was an odor in the room and bedding. The kettle seemed unused and was still covered in dust, which bothered me.

Great value for money, and the decor is quite nice too. While it's a bit far from the old town, getting to the boulevard by bus is very convenient. San Sebastián doesn't have ride-sharing apps like Uber, so if you need a taxi, you'll have to ask the front desk to call one for you.

The hotel is located just a few minutes by bus from the bar area. The exterior looks old, but the interior is very nice and clean. The bed was fluffy and I slept well. There's a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up if you need something. The breakfast selection isn't that extensive, but it was more than adequate. And it was very delicious. I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit...

Very happy overall. Hotel ILUNION was our home for our 11 night exploration of San Sebastián. The location was perfect. Less than 5 mins walk from the lovely beach of Onderetta and directly across the road from Kalea Matia where there are local shops, supermarkets, bakeries, coffee shops and lots of decent restaurants. There is also public street parking nearby which is very cheap and easy to manage...

We come back every year. The location is fantastic and the hotel has a lot of charm. It's a shame that the breakfast quality is declining. There was a staff error, and they told us there were no plates available at the moment. After we finished, we noticed them bringing out eggs and omelets for other tables. We mentioned it to the staff, as these small details make all the difference.

Short stay in San Sebastián As we were driving we picked this hotel as it was near the motorway for our next journey. It was a 20 minute walk into town which was ideal for us. Also on a bus route which ran every 5 minutes. Also had underground parking which we needed as we could leave baggage in car.

San Sebastián The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom needed a facelift. The flush was half broken. The room was very hot and the AC didn’t work. We opened the window but the street was very loud with drunk men who woke us up with their screams.

Great location when you visit the stadium. Room was old, but not bad. In the night, it is anyway quiet. The staff were good and bad, one lady I didn't like from the politeness, but the another she was polite.

The location was excellent, offering easy access to the old town and making it convenient to get around everywhere. The room was clean, and I really liked that the shower had a door. The private sauna was a huge plus, with unlimited use – I went three times during my three-night stay! The staff were very accommodating, and the cleaning was meticulous; I was thoroughly satisfied.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. We were just passing through and arrived at midnight. The concierge went to the kitchen and made tapas for us even if the kitchen was closed because we mentioned we had not had anything to eat yet.

Really lovely. There is no bar or resturant at the moment which is a bind if you are on foot like I was, but hotels with both are around without having to go too far. Perfect little hotel high on a hillside overlooking the sea. If you're a fan of modern design then it's not for you, but it's quiet, clean, comfortable and has really friendly staff. If you have a car and don't want to be right in San Sebastián city centre, I highly recommend this lovely independent hotel.

For a four star hotel we expected more. The room smelled like cheap room spray, it smelled awfully. In the morning people were constantly moving chairs, we could hear everything, it was extremely loud. We wouldn’t go again.

The flower boxes need to be freshened...old plastic and dead plants aren't inviting. The toast for all the breakfast choices was way too hard to eat...like stone. Don't toast the bread!!! We stayed 6 nights and tried them all. Also, don't mix all the cereal and yogurt and fruit together in a big mess. All the ingredients should be separate. We went to the restaurant as we saw it did a good selection of fish, salads and had a vegan option. The vegan burger was a spinach and chickpea burger with grilled corgette and aubergine garnish with guacamole sauce. Great if you're that end of town and want a decent vegan option

We traveled Northern Spain for 3 weeks and this was our absolute favorite stay! We loved everything about it and so glad we booked it. Hotel Leku Eder was a perfect stop for us. It is up in the hills with amazing views. Although a bit out of town, there is an excellent bus connection into San Sebastián and the stop is right outside the door. Just out of town by a 10 minute walk. So nice and quiet. Number 16 bus is useful. Restaurant next door needs booking in advance. We couldn’t get in. We ate in town and it was fine. Easy access to the seafront. Breakfast excellent. Patio tables available if you want to be outside. Rooms excellent. Pleased with our choice.

The stay was nice. I'd have to say that the Hotel could benefit from some additional services. It's hard to imagine that in this day and age, there isn't a single vending machine. I was unable to find coffee until the next morning, which is pretty upsetting for caffeine addicts such as myself. The facilities are all new, the rooms were pretty clean and the Parking was convenient.

Great location right on Playa Zurriola. not central but a very pleasant seaside walk gets to the old town in about 10~15 minutes. My room was great, but had some missing baseboards and some pieces of the flooring had separated and collected some junk in the cracks. Hardly a fatal flaw.

Loved the location near the beach, such a beautiful place to see when you walk out thr door in the morning. The hotel staff can be loud in the morning, waking me up most days but overall, for the money, it was great value, comfortable (no frills) and I would happily stay there again.

It’s the perfect location for exploring San Sebastián. The bed was really comfy. It was a no frills room which we were fine with but being on the ground floor it was dark and noisy in the night. We would stay again though and enjoyed our stay.

Property was fine, breakfast fine staff very good. If you require parking make sure you book in advance. There is remote parking very cheap but not straight forward to get a ticket.
