We stayed just one night prior to getting the ferry back to England. We had our dogs with us and the hotel catered very well for them. We didn't have breakfast or dinner in the hotel, but there were plenty of choices for both within a short walk of the hotel.

Loved the stay in this NH hotel in particularly, we travelled with our dog and it was the first time they have left us a bed and a toy for him. Small details count 😌

Quite old and expensive but close to restaurants and sites.

The hotel is well located in the city and is pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety.

Good location, very spacious two-bed rooms.

Abba Santander Hotel

I’ve stayed here before and I’d stay again. Great room and location. E

The bed was two singles pushed together instead of a double bed. There was no room for a bedside table on one side of the bed. There was a light above the bed which was either directly over my head or in the way when I got out of bed. The room was a bit cold so we tried to increase the temperature but it had little effect. The car park was at the station, a few minutes walk away.

First thing we arrived into the Bus Station and the Hotel is just across the street.👍 Fabulous. Reception was wonderful and gave us an upgrade to a King room 👍 Fabulous. Reception so helpful when we needed to book tickets for a show 👍 Fabulous Room great, staff & Hotel Fabulous

Breakfast was good but not free — cost €10

Room was small and dark with very little space to set luggage. I think they have larger rooms so ask for one. Bathroom had no shelf to set washbag on. Breakfast was good for the price and service attentive. However the location is excellent for everything - close to bus station and ferry so would recommend it for this reason.

Excellent breakfast. Great location. Smaller room but very comfortable bed.

Peaceful and relax hotel. They accept pets. Nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately the restaurant ws closed on Sunday but they recommendend an excellent restaurant in a 10 minutes walking distance or 2 min by car.

Amazing service from all staff. Very supportive and provided for all our needs. Rooms were clean and spacious. Would love to come back for a visit. Very welcoming

Good value, odd but actually great location Slightly odd location, but actually very convenient. Excellent staff. Comfortable room, but the whole hotel is feeling a little old and needs to be refreshed

I liked the front desk staff. If not them we would cancel our reservation and go to the other hotel. Location and room sizes were shocking, breakfast very limited. Preserved fruit served in the summer, etc

Really convenient to get to main tourist area. Staff difficult to find at Reception on several occasions. If you’ve got a car make sure you book a parking spot.

The hotel seems to have seen better days. The base in the shower was coming off the wall and had mold behind it. There were a few broken things in the room (e.g., the face plate came off the outlets in the bathroom when unpluggin the hair drier). The room had a large balcony which looked out over the bay but the furniture could have done with a wipe down. The garage is undergound and accessed with...

Excellent stay at Art Hotel. We had a perfect stay at this hotel. Quirky design, underground parking, large room, excellent location and perfect staff.

We needed to stay an extra night. We were given this at a very reasonable price. The room was good and the reception staff were always available and very pleasant

Just back from a 3 night stay in the city. Choose the hotel for its central location, and I'm glad we did. The 'Pombo' is elegantly positioned, overlooking one of the main plazas. It's perfectly situated close to the Botin, Cathedral, Port, Mercado, and you can take a stroll towards the Magdalena Peninsula & Sardinero. We encountered a very efficient check-in. One night in Santander so we wanted something the taxi could easily find from the airport and where we could walk, with luggage, to the railway station. Perfect. Hotel seems to be newly renovated.
