Abba Hotel in Santander

Room was small and dark with very little space to set luggage. I think they have larger rooms so ask for one. Bathroom had no shelf to set washbag on. Breakfast was good for the price and service attentive. However the location is excellent for everything - close to bus station and ferry so would recommend it for this reason.

The bed was two singles pushed together instead of a double bed. There was no room for a bedside table on one side of the bed. There was a light above the bed which was either directly over my head or in the way when I got out of bed. The room was a bit cold so we tried to increase the temperature but it had little effect. The car park was at the station, a few minutes walk away.

First thing we arrived into the Bus Station and the Hotel is just across the street.👍 Fabulous.
Reception was wonderful and gave us an upgrade to a King room 👍 Fabulous.

We loved everything about this hotel and had a really enjoyable stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, offering great tips on what to see and do in Santander. The décor throughout the hotel is modern and stylish, with lots of thoughtful details, our room was spacious, the beds were wonderfully comfortable.

We stayed here at the end of our holiday, after a week at a seaside campsite, as a stopover before catching the ferry back to the UK. Santander itself is a fascinating city with a creative, arty feel, and definitely worth spending some time exploring. Will come back if I can!

I was “assigned” this hotel by the agency I used to do the Camino del Norte. Whilst some accommodation were a hit and miss, my experience at ABBA Santander has restored my faith in quality and honest customer focus. There is nothing that Virginia at reception could not help with. Absolutely knowledgeable and pleasant - always with a smile. From directions to numerous places and even booking a taxi, there was really nothing too much. Location is great. I had a very nice and clean room and buffet breakfast was ample and very good. Excellent hotel.

Hotel is less than a 5 Minute walk from the ferry terminal ideal when you getting off the ferry.We had come from Plymouth and was easy to find.

Check in was great fast and efficient the lady was friendly and she went out of her way to make us happy give us local tips what to do in the area and what local buses to use.

There is no Bar/Restaurant on site but you can get Pizza/Drinks delivered to your room again the lady in reception was really helpful.Plenty of local restaurants and Bars in the local area you spoilt for choice

Breakfast was included and the was a good selection of choice of Hot/Cold buffet.

We had a family room (304)plenty of room with good Air conditioning.Lots power sockets and usb.Bed was really big want to say it was a Super King

Bathroom was modern with rain shower and was really powerful!

We really enjoyed our time here special thanks for the lady on reception who was so helpful but could not remember her Name.

Gentleman checked us out and once again really friendly! We would stay here again one of the best hotels we have stayed in!

Good location
It’s an old hotel, the room very narrow, it smells old, but it is excellently located which balanced out the inconveniences . The lady at the front desk, a sweetheart. Nice and knowledgeable .

Really wonderful hotel and staff, I enjoyed staying there. Well located, great restaurants nearby and a beautiful park on the water was just a few blocks down.
