Really beautiful old hotel with gorgeous views. The rooms are a bit dated but still clean and comfortable with a great shower. The balcony was a little disappointing - just two little metal chairs and no table. Some other balconies had tables but some looked broken; a lot of mismatched furniture. We walked everywhere from the hotel, but be warned it is a top a very big hill! Worth it for the views...

The hotel and property were spectacular. I would highly recommend! My only issue was I wasn't able to set the thermostat to blow cold air; I tried all the settings and even placed it in auto mode. The room was a toasty 24 and it never went down from there, even when I tried setting it to 15. This was a lovely historic and very well appointed five star hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. The breakfast was delicious too. The common rooms of the hotel are stately. And the bedrooms were very comfortable with gorgeous modern bathroom.

High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient. No problem recommending this hotel. The outside look of the hotel is not particularly attractive but inside it is what one would expect from a 4 star hotel.

Clean hotel, comfortable bed, and everything more than adequate. Very friendly staff and centrally located. You couldn't ask for more. I didn't use the restaurant, so I can't comment.

Stunning hotel ..staying here 2 days .. hopeless breakfast.. yeah we're English. But the bacon . Scrambled eggs and fried eggs we're cold .. . Not worth anywhere near 18 euros . Breakfast is probably worth half that . And breakfast area not very welcoming.. definitely eating out for breakfast tomorrow

Very helpful front desk staff, we got an upgrade to ocean view room which was much appreciated. Just over the road from the beautiful beach. Clean and spacious room , comfortable bed. Breakfast ok but nothing special.

Great location right on the seafront. Staff were great. Breakfast was good. The bathrooms probably could do with a little more attention with cleaning and FYI, a standard double room is quite small with a small double bed.

Stayed here in July. Hotel has a fantastic location on the front and there was an amazing sea view from our room. However, on returning to the room on the 2nd day we had no cups or satchets of coffee/milk for the morning. We enjoyed a pleasant overnight stay in this large hotel overlooking the beach. The room was of good size and well maintained. Free on-street parking was found behind the hotel. Local wine bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

We really liked our experience at the Vinci Puerto chico. The location is excellent. The room was a little small but cozy, and the bathroom was quite big. The public parking right outside is a plus. The staff was nice and there were some nice touches. We did not take the breakfast. I would stay here again and highly recommend thanks to the awesome location.

Very nice place to stay on the waterfront and near Casa Lita. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our A/C worked like a charm and the breakfast buffet was very good. Good Wifi, as well.

Like the large rooms. Very good breakfasts. Free use of swimming pool next door. Beach and supermarkets nearby. Very easy to get into Santander on numerous buses. Paseo al Cabo Mayor affords lovely views of the Sardinero beach.

This is long overdue. We stayed here for three nights last summer and enjoyed every minute of it. The setting let alone remodeled historic structure are enough to draw us back to this wonderful hotel. We had dinner every night and the food was some of the best we had in all of our two weeks of travel across Spain. Fabulous Authentic Small Luxury Hotel. Loved staying here this spring. Good food, lovely indoor pool, super comfy beds and gorgeous interiors. Surrounded by quiet farmland and pretty gardens. Staff were kind and helpful. Would love to return in the future.

We stayed for two very enjoyable nights. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful very calm & relaxing. The rooms are a tranquil oasis. We ate at the restaurant both nights all meals excellent & showed local ingredients. We loved our stay here, it was so nice.
