The hotel is luxuriously decorated, the environment is comfortable, the front desk service is enthusiastic, the room is clean and tidy, the bathroom is large and easy to use, and the hotel breakfast is great, rich in content and tastes good

Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough and chewy, chips nothing outstanding, my advice would be to eat out at the many excellent restaurants in the adjoining street

High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient

Lovely clean hotel with big rooms and fantastic bathrooms. Very close to the beach and local amenities. Did not use the restaurant as there is plenty of bars and restaurants nearby offering local food and pinchos

Dinner was also served at the hotel, a three-course French meal that tasted excellent. There are white-lined parking spaces on the roadside at the door, which are free and safe. The peninsula beach is beautiful

It is just a 1 minute walk to the beach/sea front and there are lots of restaurants & bars very close by. The walk from the bay to the city centre is amazing along the beautifully clean and scenic promenade

Some other balconies had tables but some looked broken; a lot of mismatched furniture. We walked everywhere from the hotel, but be warned it is a top a very big hill! Worth it for the views

Gorgeous hotel, with character and history. Pity that quite a few facilities were closed due to the time of year but we had a lovely relaxed stay

The room was a toasty 24 and it never went down from there, even when I tried setting it to 15. My wife also could smell cigarette smoke coming in our room when we had the windows open, clearly from other guests

Really beautiful old hotel with gorgeous views. The rooms are a bit dated but still clean and comfortable with a great shower. The balcony was a little disappointing - just two little metal chairs and no table

This was a lovely historic and very well appointed five star hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it. The breakfast was delicious too. The common rooms of the hotel are stately

Very comfortable hotel situated right at the front of the promenade with a great view over the sea, as long as the mist is not there! The hotel staff were all very helpful, l only wish my Spanish was as good as their English

Good location for the ferry. Underground parking very secure. Breakfast a bit pricey but eat as much as you want.

Very helpful front desk staff, we got an upgrade to ocean view room which was much appreciated. Just over the road from the beautiful beach. Clean and spacious room , comfortable bed. Breakfast ok but nothing special.

Location is very good, beach and lots of restaurants at walking distance. The room was big and the bathroom and the towels were great

30-10 am after an overnight flight. Staff (Gina & the other girl) was so accommodating and found us a room for us to check in earlier. The location is amazing with the beach and water views

We stayed just one night prior to getting the ferry back to England. We had our dogs with us and the hotel catered very well for them

Very helpful Reception staff, check in was swift. Was given an excellent large parking space upstairs which accomodates larger vehicles. Great location for ferry port, 5 mins drive away.

I traveled for work to Santander and stayed at this hotel. Although the hotel car park is small, there is always some place available nearby and during the night the blue area is free

The hotel is well located in the city and is pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast has a lot of variety.

Free use of swimming pool next door. Beach and supermarkets nearby. Very easy to get into Santander on numerous buses. Paseo al Cabo Mayor affords lovely views of the Sardinero beach

Senior suite was wonderful with a huge jacuzzi tub and plenty of room. Balcony with a view and a large comfortable bed. All amenities were very nice and in good order. Very pleasant visit! Spacious and we'll appointed.

This property is at the edge of town, but if you have a car and want less hassle with parking and crowds, stay here. The staff is very nice, and they have a popular bar and cafeteria, even at the edge of town

Friendly Helpful staff. Clean rooms. Good location. It would be nice if they provide kettle for tea and coffee. All the other stuff made it good value for money. Will recommend it to anyone.

Excellent stay Although check in seemed a little confusing at first - You just need to go to the first floor and knock one of the two doors that open to reception eventually. After that it was quite easy to check in

Clean room, very comfortable bed and the bathroom, very cool and practical. There is a free parking lot in front where we were lucky to be able to park without much difficulty! We will return without a doubt!

Really convenient to get to main tourist area. Staff difficult to find at Reception on several occasions. If you’ve got a car make sure you book a parking spot.

I liked the front desk staff. If not them we would cancel our reservation and go to the other hotel. Location and room sizes were shocking, breakfast very limited. Preserved fruit served in the summer, etc

The garage is undergound and accessed with a car lift which was not for the faint of heart. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable but the hotel could do with some maintenance
