Great great location in the Gothic Quarter. Clean room and good service, though the drainage from the bath makes weird noise when I'm showering.

And if you're super sensitive to noise then this place may not be perfect because you could hear the church bells going on and people on the street chatting, but for me this is not a problem.

I wouldn't recommend this place personally because I'm a light sleeper and I was only able to manage a couple of hours sleep given the noise and room temperature. Walls are thin and the street noise is louder than I care for. I don't sleep well when the room is warm and because this hotel is older, you cannot adjust the temperature in your room independently from the entire hotel and I found the whole place to be a little warm for my comfort. I also felt the bedding was poor. The rooms are a bit dated but the location is perfect and the hotel is very affordable relative to others in the area. Staff is very friendly and speak great English if that's a factor for you.

Staying here on a 3 day trip from N.Y. and it's actually amazing. The whole gothic quarter is rustic and antique. This hotel has all of the same charm. It's not worn out and it's very clean. The staff is nice and the hotel has a very classic style to it.

Very clean and well situated hotel. The rooms are clean and neat. The breakfast lacks maybe some eggs or some pastries. The isolation of the rooms is horrible, we can hear everything that is happening next door. And finally the beds that were in the rooms just kept sliding down everytime we would sit up to watch TV. They do not offer shampoo.
However the staff is very sweet and attentive. I hope there will be a renovation any time soon and we will be glad to come back here.
