Why bad these high prices at a place like the W to receive such poor front desk service I attached a picture that was about 4:10, the line was double this size an hour ago

Fabulous hotel!!!! Staff are amazing, all really friendly and helpful- can’t do enough for you

However, the service was definitely on point, and the sea view and location were arguably the best. The gym was also a thoughtful touch, with water and towels placed on every treadmill

The room amenities were as described online, though the beds looked quite old and the facilities were generally average. The lighting in the room was a bit dim

It takes them 15 minutes to check in one person and the Elite line take even longer than regular both times!

The location is excellent, particularly the convenience of its proximity to Camp Nou, which was a nice bonus for us. The staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely nice, making us feel welcome throughout our stay

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona was exceptional — easily one of the best five-star hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The experience was so good that we genuinely didn’t want to leave the hotel to explore the city

The Ritz-Carlton brand speaks for itself and the expectation is high when staying here, as to be expected. The hotel was wonderful, and the staff were exceptional and attentive, and the food was also truly at a 5* level

However, they didn't replenish the drinking water. After calling for water, I waited almost an hour to get it. The towels had mold and black spots. These issues shouldn't occur in a hotel of this caliber

The staff here is very well trained. The room we had is beautiful with views. The location is beautiful and right next to the beach. They even have a free shuttle from the hotel to plaça Catalunya

I've also stayed at hotels from this brand in places like Shanghai and Nanjing, and they've always been great! Planning to book 'her' again on my next trip to Barcelona, it's truly wonderful!

The rooms are huge and the decor is very suitable for summer – you could even shoot a movie here! It's really good, and there's also a Michelin three-star restaurant to dine at

I absolutely loved the design style – modern and minimalist, yet with thoughtful details. The color scheme and furniture placement were very tasteful, making it perfect for photos

There's a mall across the street, which makes dining very convenient. Getting to tourist attractions requires taking the subway or bus. It's perfect for a relaxing beach vacation

But there's a good shopping mall with plenty of dining options, including American staples (McDonald's, Taco Bell, KFC, Five Guys, etc. ) and Metro train station is less than 10min walk

The lounge offered very little in terms of food, especially hot dishes. The room itself felt a bit old. Otherwise, no major issues. The minibar was completely empty.

The pool makes it's job, and it's great to be open all year long! Though, here are few things taht wolud need fixing - the fitness room is too samll, having 3 persons inside feels like croud

Location: The hotel is right by the sea, with bars and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The environment is decent, and the breakfast is great, even with champagne available.

Location is brilliant for access to the beach and promenade for running. Rooftop pool is excellent with good views, quite a small pool but ideal to jump in to cool off. Breakfast was good with a nice selection

It was a comfortable stay, especially since I could watch Amazon Prime on the TV! And the view from the rooftop was amazing – it was great to see Barcelona's sunrise, sunset, and the night view from there!

Only two minor topics of improvement, I missed a place the hang the towel after shower and I would prefer to have extra pillows as well, but this didn’t impacted the great experience I had here and I highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Second stay here, and the service at this hotel is excellent. We booked a room that included welcome drinks, which we could redeem at the bar. There was also complimentary juice upon arrival

The gym is very professional and spacious. I accidentally left my scarf behind when checking out, and they helped me retrieve it in the end. I'm very impressed with the service

This is a business hotel that I stayed at temporarily for a video conference. It's very close to Sants station. The front desk and restaurant staff were warm and patient.

The location is fantastic, right next to the train station, making it easy to get anywhere by subway. The twin beds were placed vertically, which made the room feel a bit cramped

The only major issue is the fancy underbed automatic light (so you can see where you walk when you go to the bathroom at night) which stays on too long, but they’re changing that soon

However, for the last two days, the cleaning staff kindly provided bottled water, which I really appreciate! ^_^ The showerhead in the bathroom seemed clogged, and the water pressure was very low, making the shower experience not particularly comfortable

I am so impressed by this hotel. Easy to use heating gorgeous bathroom! All soaps/washes and creams are vegan! Food was impeccable! Highly recommend the carbonara and the buffet breakfast is not to be missed

This is probably one of the best located SPG properties in Barcelona. While the W might be trendy and on the beach, Le Meridien is located in the Gótic quarter along La Rambla.

Le Méridien Barcelona is a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the service is genuinely lovely - warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay

The rooms are extremely dated and look like they haven’t seen a refurbishment in decades. In my room, the wardrobe door wouldn’t close and the heating didn’t work at all

2) The room was very worn in general; things like the carpet were very old and stained and there was dirt and dust inside the minibar fridge. 3) The spa facility was tiny and not entirely functional

We hosted an offsite there and the catering was well handled, with the team clearly making an effort to accommodate our needs

The food was really tasty, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Thanks to Endurance, the whole experience felt smooth, comfortable, and truly enjoyable. I’d definitely love to come back again

Anyone with bad intentions could easily follow you into the elevator and up to the rooms. One day, after housekeeping had cleaned, I came back to the room and the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke

Daily house keeping does basic keeping of bed and restock of towels. Hotel is clean and nice and along a busy shopping street near chanel dior etc

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, from the greeter at the door, front desk staff, and lobby manager to the restaurant and bar, and room service, every single staff member greeted me with a smile and offered warm, attentive service

While the furniture, bathroom facilities, and amenities in the room were indeed a bit dated, which is common in many older European hotels, the professional, warm, and thoughtful service completely made up for these shortcomings

As a welcome gift, they offered chocolate cookies and cava – and really, how can you go to Spain and not drink cava? Breakfast was also very good and plentiful; the ham was absolutely delicious!

The hotel's location is superb, right in the middle of Passeig de Gràcia, surrounded by various restaurants, bars, and convenience stores. The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable

One interesting thing was that instead of a queen-sized bed there were two singles, made up individually and pushed together. Not exactly a honeymoon suite! Breakfast, included with our room, was positively lovely

An Exceptional Stay – Truly Beyond Words I have just completed a two-day stay at the Eurostars Grand Marina Hotel in Barcelona, and I am genuinely lost for words at how exceptional the entire experience was

I think their names were Sergei and Marianna who checked us in and stepped up to assist when the room had the wrong bed setup. It was resolved very quickly, and the staff who swapped the bed were so quicknand friendly

We were pleasantly surprised with a sea-view room upgrade as a honeymoon gift, which made our stay extra special and unforgettable. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality

During peak hours, bus traffic is severe! The hotel breakfast looks great in photos, but it's actually horrible. We stayed for four days and ate breakfast there four times, but skipped it the last two days

It was a disaster for our Chinese palates. The repetitive menu and the exorbitant €32 price tag are completely unjustified. The only four hot dishes were sausage, bacon, eggs, and fried rice

The rooftop garden is definitely a highlight. In the evenings, there are live band performances, and it's wonderfully relaxing to enjoy a drink, take a dip in the pool, and soak in the night views

The rooftop bar was a nice surprise—perfect place to relax after exploring the city. Only downside was that the pool area can get crowded in the afternoon

I really enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Barcelona. The lobby is stunning and gives a luxury vibe right away. My room was modern, spotless, and had an incredibly comfortable bed

My first impression began at reception with Elber, who swiftly and amiably handled my check-in and baggage. The entire reception crew was sweet, making the process fast and friendly

Beyond the facilities, the friendliness and warmth of the staff made my stay exceptional. The crew on the Intercontinental floor, especially, made me feel like part of one big family

Located right by Barcelona Sants so it is well connected to the city centre with the metro. The hotel is nice, clean and it has very hospital staff. Would return if I am visiting Barcelona in the future.

Might not be the most strategic location as it’s not in the main district like Passeig De Gracia / Eixample, but if you’re arriving or departing via high speed railway from anywhere else in Spain, it’s definitely a good location! I’d choose a big room & travel to the main street via subway than staying in the busy streets
