Pensión Palacio in Barcelona

Started off very well but guy on duty (with glasses) was a complete nightmare to deal with. Stood and watched me come out of the shower like a complete pervert... by the way my shower lasted less than 5 mins. Cleaned and banged about from 6am or earlier with no respect for those still in bed. Rude and accused us if trying to hide something in the room... still puzzled by what we were hiding as I asked him in Spanish and there was no answer. Deliberately switched off Wi-Fi at 10am as we were leaving so that we could no use it at all. We had stayed 5 nights with no problems apart from this idiot. He needs to take a course in customer service or get another job. Spoilt my opinion of the hotel completely as the Ecuador who first showed us around could not have been nicer. Would not go back as got fed up of being perved on in the morning and the million signs posted around the place telling us what to do.

Absolutely horrible. There were no guests allowed, the rooms were hot and stuffy. They limited your shower time to 10 minutes, and the staff were unfriendly. I would never ever return there again. If you are young this place will make you feel like you're living in a retirement home with lots of controls in place.
