We had an absolutely amazing stay. My family with 2 kids really enjoyed. The hotel atmosphere was very calm, peaceful and safe. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality. Room is very spacious and clean. This hotel is ideally located, offering both convenience and tranquillity just a walking distance from Ella town. The staff provided excellent service.

We had initially booked another property in Ella, but it didn’t meet our expectations. While looking for alternatives, we came across Oak Ridge, Ella, and it turned out to be a great decision. The staff was extremely kind and supportive, helped us promptly, and arranged cottages for us at short notice. The stay was very comfortable, and the hospitality truly stood out. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at ease—highly appreciate their efforts

Laundry service was good. Rooms were dingy and had moisture/odor. Owner and staff was friendly. No food option. Water was murky and electricity had some issues.

We stayed in Ella for 3 nights. We loved the place. The rooms were big, clean and the beds were nice. The garden in front of our cottage was spacious. I did some fitness there in the morning. Lovely. Already mentioned in numerous reviews : the road to come to Okreech is steep. If you have difficulties with walking, then Okreech cottages is not meant for you.

A very well-located place, accessed by climbing a steep hill. Close to the main avenue, a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants that look great. The hotel has everything you need and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very attentive.

The location of the bungalow hotel is perfect. Close to the main road, but away from the noise. The bungalows are beautiful and have a huge and spectacular garden. You can exchange money at the supermarket just 100 meters away. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights and this was a great place for a base in Ella. Close to the Main Street where all of the restaurants and shops are, as well as the road which leads to Little Adam’s Peak. Rooms were spacious and clean, no complaints really however there is a steep incline to reach the cottages so probably not great for elderly and those who struggle uphill.

The room and balcony were very comfortable with a sprawling view over Ella. Yoga was very helpful in providing service and potable water to the room. It’s a steep climb from Ella to the cottages but thankfully close enough to the Main Street and shops.

Lovely place to stay! Very clean, very safe and also very beautiful. Just a 3 minute walk from the main Ella town centre. Great location. Very child friendly. Very nice rooms. Couldn’t recommend enough. Thankyou so much for having us. Great place !!!

Lovely little cottages. We booked one whole cottage with 2 rooms. Walking distance to all the restaurants & bars.Rooms are clean & equipped with a mini fridge & a little tea station. Bathrooms can be improved a bit. Otherwise a lovely cozy place. Our cottage had a small picnic table. We had a picnic breakfast there.

You should totally stay here in Ella! We had an amazing time with our group of 13, and the staff really took care of everyone. Most rooms have awesome mountain views, and it's super close to the city center, just a short walk. Plus, the free breakfast was delicious!

Almost every room offers a stunning mountain view, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center. The complimentary breakfast was also a highlight—absolutely delicious!
What truly set them apart was their honesty and helpfulness. One of our friends accidentally left their wallet behind; the staff found it, called us immediately, and even couriered it to our next stop. Such amazing, polite, and friendly people.

On a bend many steps to hotel. Hotel can help with bags. Large family room good beds. Shower took ages to heat but good. Great upstairs social verandah

I truly loved the view from our hotel room: verdant mountains, birdsong, and the soothing sound of a nearby stream — it really felt like being in the heart of nature. The receptionist and two staff members kindly carried all six of our suitcases up several flights of stairs to our rooms. Overall, everything was excellent.
