Saraii Village in Tissamaharama

We stayed here for a night at the Tree house suites(4A 2K >5). The place was awesome and it looks much much better at night. Very friendly staff and the manager is a gem. They gave their best for making our stay a pleasant one from our lunch request till the breakfast. Do not expect televisions, internet coverage etc and it's hard for them to keep the place spot clean with the wind and the falling leaves but go and enjoy in the pool, have a passion fruit juice or order a fruit platter,listen to the birds when you wake up. Young couples, guys and solo travelers do not think twice😉. Will stay here someday when I travel to South. Thanks Saraii staff ❤️👍.

For travelers who like to experience very authentic life in the tropical nature, this place is just right. The staff (especially the manager) is super nice and friendly. One star is deducted here because many things have to be renewed and rebuilt after the "Corona break" (which works well though). In addition, it would be super practical to be offered a possibility where you can lock your suitcases.

I booked the Tree House Suit and I stayed there for two nights. We had a nice sitting area with bean bags, chairs, stools made of tires and a hammock. There were no air conditioned rooms but the fans and the way they have built the tree house keep the temperature down throughout.

The bedroom is just wow and there was a private bathroom on the same floor. In the evening dinner is served with lots of candlelight and, under a starlit sky near the swimming pool. The Manager came and told us about the plan of the second night which is really nice of him. The staff s are very friendly and lovely people. We headed back to the tree house and. Quite location

On the next day morning we woke up at we were headed to the Lake for our lake tour and we were taken to the river in a tractor which was very cool, a ride through the village road.

The lake ride is just amazing, by the time we came to the shore we had our breakfast served to us by the lake. A lot of birds to see but because of the drought not much water in lake. a different experience to have breakfast while the ripples of water touching your feet while enjoying the serene lake.

They have a swimming pool and that’s a salt water swimming pool, According to the manager salt being used instead of chlorine which is artificial, sounded more interesting to me to see how they value the “Eco Concept”

I wanted to try Yoga, but due to the travel plan I had to stick to my schedule, but I spoke to Anna, who’s doing Yoga. She is really friendly and I supportive and interactive.

Spent one night in the mud chalet and the other night in a tree house. It was my first tree house experience and it was awesome. Very nice concept. Staff and the food was great!!

calm n quiet place. They have a nice little pool. Tree houses are ok. Good place to relax.
