ME Hotel in Colombo

The stay was extremely disappointing. There was no proper guidance or hospitality I had to go to the bar myself just to ask about events and available drinks, and they couldn’t even provide basic bottled water. I understand they serve their water in glass bottles and that it’s their style, but sometimes we prefer sealed plastic bottled water for safety reasons. The food is very overpriced, with a big portion of the bill going toward taxes.

They also didn’t have a dental kit in the washroom; I had to specifically request a toothbrush and toothpaste, which is shocking for a hotel. During the second housekeeping, they forgot to place towels, and I again had to ask for them. For the high price they charge, the service is very sloppy and unprofessional totally not worth it.

I had booked 5 nights in the VIP room, and even there the TV channels were quite limited, though that part was acceptable compared to everything else.
