Fairway Colombo - Sri Lanka's First Hotel With Robot Technology in Colombo

To start with, the hotel's location is excellent, in the Central Business District but with very narrow lane to approach it from all three sides. Good for walking but not good for a cab or any other vehicle and no parking space for more than 3 cars.
The lobby and the front office is decent and so are the elevators serving the guest floors. The passage to the rooms on every floor is decent and with minimal decoration.
The rooms are quite decent in size too with basic modern facilities like a wardrobe with locker, a refrigerator, tea/coffee station, a television and a writing desk.
The sleep quality was not as good though with bad insulation at the window. Loud Music from the clubs and cafes would bother you till late night and won't subside even with repeated complaints to the Front Desk. That was something that bothered us for all the days we stayed there.
The buffet breakfast at the rooftop restaurant, Fort Fusion, was quite elaborate and we used to look forward to it everyday. The choices were good and a lot for Indian palate too. Their chutneys were great and developed a liking for 'Seeni Sambal' which I had tasted for the first time in life.
The Front Office staff was slow but the Housekeeping staff was quite efficient.
Overall, the stay had a mixed satisfaction with food at the restaurant taking the topmost spot.

Prime location. Narrow but beautiful street where the hotel is located. Lift facility for car parking. I parked my bicycle there and itbwas safe to park there. Near tomorrow city. Staff very cooperative and always with smiling face. Room service good. Rooms very nice and clean.

A great hotel in a good location in the center of Colombo. Comfortable and spacious rooms of a high standard and very tasty food. The service was top-notch, providing us with tremendous support and assistance in a crisis situation during our trip.

The location of the hotel was just perfect, being near dutch hospital premise, you could enjoy premium restaurants famous for high quality sea food. Other places like Galle Face Mall one od thr largest mall here was also nearby. Each tourist place was well within the reach from here. Hospitality was quite good and i had no issue while staying here. Overall i had a good stay here.

We stayed as a family with an elderly member and a child, and took two rooms. The rooms were super clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and we had a really good night’s sleep. Lift access to the floor is secured with an access card, which felt safe. We opted for the half-board meals, and both breakfast and dinner were very good with a moderate variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Excellent service by all means. Loved the stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful for anything I could ask for. Room services and housekeeping are extraordinary.
