We had a truly wonderful experience at Little Tamarind. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely thoughtful. A special thank you to the whole team who showed care and professionalism, creating a sense that you’re not just living somewhere good, but somewhere that really wants to make you feel welcomed. The food was exceptional: beautifully balanced, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with great respect for Sri Lankan cuisine. Every dish felt considered and generous, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Little Tamarind is a place you leave already planning your return. Thank you to Eli and the entire staff for such a memorable stay— it was a joy from start to finish.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a small fishing village, far from the noise and crowds, and just a short walk from the beach. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lush greenery and the ocean. The entire property is beautifully maintained, surrounded by trees and tropical plants — it truly feels like the hotel is wrapped in a jungle. I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the food was amazing — fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. The staff was exceptional: kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature, and outstanding hospitality.

Amazing place! The view, the staff, the nearby attractions, the rooms and the food – everything was just perfect. We stayed as a family (2 adults + 2 children) for two weeks in August 2023 and loved it so much that we came back again two years later as a couple. Excellent stay and great value for money

The best place I have been in Sri Lanka. One level above all. The rooms are huge and luxurious with everything you need. Balconies with stunning sea views. The food is excellent and the staff is nice and kind. Short walking distance to two beaches. One of them for surfing. Highly recommend.

A secret hideaway «in the jungle» - next to two different but beautiful beaches. The best place and facilities for a holiday - and to get peace in mind. Gorgeous view of the ocean and the wild life is just 2 meters away. The staff is helpful and made me feel like home. I do also recommend the yoga and the SUP!

This is a beautifully relaxed and welcoming hotel. Sandwiched between two lovely beaches, both with good bars and lovely views. Ruth, Sunny and the team are so helpful. The room was gorgeous and looked out over the ocean. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved celebrating new year on a nearby beach with lovely local people. The staff here just want you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. So make sure you are ready to do that. It’s got WiFi but it’s more about connecting with nature than your phone.
