Twenty Two Binaweli in Weligama

Our final stop on our South Coast trip was at Dazzle Bay Twenty Two Hotel.
We booked a family room, and it was clean and very peaceful. The place offers great value for money with high-quality customer service. It's located right in front of the Weligama surfing point, which was perfect for us.

There are also many restaurants nearby, adding to the convenience.

The hotel is really nice and squeaky clean, but there were a couple of things that needed to be fixed.
At the entrance you're greeted by a very nice and helpful staff. All of them are really nice and will go out of their ways to help you, even give you coffee much earlier than the actual breakfast, drop your postcards - even though they're not required.

The bar by the pool has the pool table, the pool is well taken care of and clean, and the towels are provided.

The restaurant has great coffee, we haven't had food there, but the smell was always super yummy!

Our room had a pool view: although it's a nice view, it also overlooked the construction site above the pool. It was super clean, and the windows were huge. There's A/C, but it leaks on the floor. It's not a problem, though it could be fixed. The ceiling had chunks of paint falling off it. In the pictures of the hotel there's a TV, we had just a wire, no TV. But that wasn't a problem - we spent long days out. There's no fridge, so you can't have beverages in the room, which in such a hot country isn't an asset for the hotel. The bathroom shower plastic wall was broken and bent out, so the water was leaking out. This wasn't much of a problem - I put a lot of towels on the floor. The floor tiles were very slippery and dangerous when wet.
All in all, I liked the hotel and really enjoyed it there, although I would invest in fixing it a bit because the price is not the cheapest.

I rarely write reviews, but I would like to recommend this wonderful hotel and the staff that work there. The hotel is new, just opened. The rooms are big and bright, very clean and the new comfortable mattresses are just magical. Special thanks to the Peshitha, who is always ready to help, answer any questions and solve any problems. He is the soul of this place. I will definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to all my friends.

We came here for only one night and everyone was so welcoming! The room was very clean. Everyone working was so kind. They took all of our bags up the stairs to our room for us. The shower had HOT HOT water. Our room had a balcony with a wonderful beach view! Breakfast of avocado toast was good. Would recommend a stay here! Also, right across from the beach!
