Excellent experience staying at Visby Börs på påsklov. Very close to everything..to the port, to the Stora torget, the ruina and all the attractions i innerstad.The hotel staff were always helpful and friendly; and the breakfast, delicious.The room was tidy, spacious and cozy.Don't hesitate to book at Visby Börs! I can't wait to go back there again!!

A great hotel in a historically significant building. Everything, really everything, more than met my expectations and often exceeded them, starting with the breakfast buffet, the size and cleanliness of the room and the service. The highlight: The entire hotel is highly creative and furnished with special taste, sometimes ironically, but always full of surprises. Special tip for cineastes: Ask for room 605 ...

Even on my second visit, I can share my unreserved enthusiasm: we stayed at Visby Börs for eleven nights and had an exceptionally wonderful stay. Above all, I’d like to highlight the service provided by the entire team this time: thoughtful, helpful recommendations on what to experience in Gotland during the off-season (between October and May), and of course the generous breakfast and the unparalleled tranquility... I’ll definitely be back!

A Unique Stay in the Heart of the Old Town!
I had the pleasure of staying in a top-floor apartment that offered a truly memorable experience. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I was living in the heart of the old town—charming, peaceful, and full of character.
The location was excellent—just a short walk to the sea, surrounded by a lovely green park, and conveniently close to IKEA for anything I needed. It perfectly combined convenience with charm.
Waking up to the views, enjoying the calm atmosphere, and feeling so connected to the town’s heritage made this stay one of my best choices. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and authentic experience.

Central in the beautiful old city, unquiet
Börsen Annex lies in a distance of a rather good walk from the main hotel, though by the beautiful old town gates. Annex is itself an idyllic ancient house. The location is just gorgeous quite near to Stortorget and other central places, though it has reverse side: I listened much revelry on nights. Part of it was due to young people who were living in other rooms of the Annex; but the area seems to me being also otherwise partying zone of the city. It, however, helped that I closed also the inner door from the vestibule to the sleeping room. The modern furnishings are moderately fitted to the old, small rooms.

Central location, but noisy rooms. Specifically if you get a room that's not in the main building. We got a room that's in another street close by, very noisy and no dark curtains, no working TV. Average breakfast, and avoid coffee.

Very clean and well renovated hotel while still honoring the history of the building. Beds were comfortable. Small but nice bathroom. Very central location within the walls of Visby. Breakfast is rather basic but good. Housekeeping could be improved, our towels were left on the floor (as per the instruction the hotel had posted) because we wanted them changed. Came back and found the room made but towels still on the floor, I am not sure anyone even had a look inside the bathroom. A bit noisy, isolation is not the best and there were drunk people screaming at night. Reception is not manned after 8 pm so there is not really much you could do about it either. I recommend the hotel and think it was a nice hotel with good value for the money.

Great place to stay with 3 people. The second bedroom has privacy so we slept great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay at again.

The staff at reception and breakfast were very welcoming and helpful.
The only inconvenience we experienced was condescending and rude treatment from what I assume was the manager/owner. In relation to noise complaints regarding conversation-level noise, we were physically demonstrated to "zip it" or else we would get kicked out of the hotel. This happened after we had made it clear we understood his concerns.
The difference in his demeanor was especially noticeable once I asked him to speak in English.

It looked nice, but…
The room was a surprise. On the corner, street level. Need to keep the shades closed or everybody passing looked you in the face, lying on your (very good) bed.
So you could not open the bigger windows, only small ones higher, and it was warm.
Biggest problem: a huge bath with no grips to hold and… no separate shower. Not very handy for older people. The bathroom was big enough for a separate shower though.
In the evening we heared the people passing by like they where standing next to our bed. And when it got later, they sounded more and more happy. And louder…
Over SEK 2500 a night without breakfast or roomservice, it was rather disappointing.
