Best location . You can go and see many places. This place is at the top of mountain ! The view is astonishing enjoy the nights while drinking your tea or coffee at the balcony looking at the moon and remembering that we humans really need time to enjoy life and nature

Pro: breakfast with great views, good bed, clean room, friendly staff, walking distance to everything
Con / what we would have liked to know before: be aware of extra cost (40 extra per night) & that the thermal is not a big saving: we felt the hotel quality already did not match the price. On top of the room rate, you need to consider extra payments for (external) parking, payment fees (e.g. pre-payment with credit card required & they charge 3% for credit card payments), and tourist tax, it is about 40 extra per night (on top of the stated room rate per night).
the thermal is "included", but you still pay extra for the sauna in it. If you just go to the sauna you only pay 10 CHF more than with the "included" rate. The thermal itself (included) is so overcrowded, we decided to go to another one and paid full price for that on top of everything else.

We paid CHF 14 extra (per day) for parking. It is true your parking is only CHF 5, but your parking was apparently full when we asked for it. Later we met others that checked in after us that were allowed to park for CHF 5 (per night) at your property. We would have appreciated being offered this spot when we specifically asked for parking more than once. And paying thru a booking platform or cash on site seems to be cheaper (no fees at other properties). We did bring this up in person as well!
We left a 3 star review, besides not being very happy, and also highlighted the positive aspects at the beginning of the review. Yet it added up and was not the same experience as our other accommodations/resorts in Wallis (despite the high price). So we felt it would be fair sharing the things we would have liked to know before. E.g., every family/couple can decide themselves if including the advertised thermal is a good fit for them, we felt it was very, very full and the extra price for the sauna was more than expected.
We'd like to thank you one more time for hosting us and also do believe this is valuable information to other guest and might also help you avoiding any disappointments.

Excellent value for money. I really enjoyed the included access to the therme as well as the breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Beautiful town lots to do. Very nice hotel. I can't say enough about the hotel. Great breakfast and staff. Made our vacation even better. Memories for a lifetime.

Great location- great staff: The owner and host Freddy is very friendly and helpful - he is a great adviser and gives great tour or daily tips. The house is overlooking Leukerbad and the breakfast is great with lots of varieties. Great coffee machine. Also you get a badge for the Thermalbad. With the kurtax you can use local busses and you get discounts on the Gondola. Short a great place also for families couples and hickers due the mountains around are amazing. I will come again... This hotel is excellent, staff are pretty friendly though we did have a bit of an initial fallout over the fact Expedia hadn't done our booking correctly from their end. Not sure whose fault that was but they did find us another room, it was smaller but they gave us a suitable discount for the trouble so all happy in the end. The breakfast is great with a lovely view. Good coffee machine, really good robes and towels for the thermal spas which you have free access to if you stay. Rooms are old but functional. Bed was comfortable and it was easy to use the hotel with a buggy as they have a lift. If you come with buggy you want to enter from the top floor which might be a little tricky to find at first. You will likely have to wait for someone to open the door or one of you go round by reception and let the other one in.

We reserve the hotel by online only for 1 night on the weekend.
The location is not in the centre of Leukerbad but it’s not far. There are stairs (shortcut) to go to centre where you can find thermal pool, shops and restaurants.
In this hotel, they also serve lunch and dinner but have to reserve first especially on the weekends.
The ticket to entering thermal pool is included in the price. It’s quite good because the hotel provide you the bracelet and you can enter the pool without queuing. You can use it until late the next day of your stay.
The breakfast is quite good, lots of choices but they don’t have “hot eggs”. I love omelette hahaha
They only provide boiled egg which already cold.
The rooms is clean. The parking space is very limited but if you have chance you can parking a few meter from this hotel. Just pay CHF5 per day.

5 mins to Leukerbad thermal bath on foot. Very nice location right in the village. Quite cheap comparing to the other hotels nearby.

I love it, very close to the sky pist, ideally dir families, you get access to the therme for free!! Nice breakfast, the familiy owner is very nice!! The atmosphere is fantastic, especially during winter with the snow. Enjoy a relaxing vacation!!
