The hotel is in serious need of renovation. There were only fifteen people staying and so was rather ghost like. We were given rooms on the top floor which were small, with tiny windows looking out on the roof with no view which was a shame as other floors were obviously available. The bathroom has chipped tiles and cracked basin. The breakfast is a good spread but everything has been sitting for ages...

The hotel is showing its age and desperately needs a renovation. The room still had carpeting and no balcony. On the plus side, it has rooms with twin beds that can be separated. This is our second time here :) So lovely. This mountain spa use to be one of the best places to relax in Europe. Since it changed management about five or six years ago it has deteriorated significantly. It now allows kids under 16 years old and often infants. The kids piss in the pool, dive off the structures and cause what used to be relaxing experience, too be a dangerous experience. Beautiful hotel, good welcome but a little aging. The bathrooms could do with a refresh. To go to the baths which are on site, it's an obstacle course, it's complicated and not practical.

Fantastic family weekend The time was extremely entertaining. So many hiking options, followed by relaxation in the pool and sauna! Rooms are big and well appointed. The bathrooms are also spacious and it's nice to have the toilet separated. It is a pity that there is no longer a restaurant, but breakfast is served and it is a very good breakfast. Best SPA place I've ever been to! it's located right next to the Thermal Spa centre and they offered us vouchers for each day for both pools and spa! The Sauna experience was out of this world!

Thh hotel staff and owner are impeccable in customer service all they do. The hotel is immaculately maintained. The breakfast is extensive and essential for manuvering the daily hiking, climbing, biking regiment. The beds are like heavenly clouds and the balcony breeze and views are stunning. The quietest place and the most beautiful surroundings i have ever experienced.

We only stayed one night but this hotel provided us with our most enjoyable meal in our two weeks in Switzerland. The food was top quality, great flavours and service. The hotel is very close to the thermal baths (Walliser Alpentherme) and our room had a nice balcony and was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful.

The environment and hygiene were good; it's the only hotel in this small town with its own hot spring. 2 min away from Torrent gondola, the hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast is made of fresh bread and good products. Access to the public bath is included in your stay (along with the Gemmi). It's a very good deal and definitely worth the stay.

The staff at Hotel Alex were very friendly and helpful in providing information for our stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they have a finicular and their own steam rooms and spa services for guests to access on property. The hotel is super well located. It has a private lift (“Alex Express” :-)) that leaves you ten meters way from the cable car to go skiing. We having been visiting Leukerbad since 2012 and have stayed in this hotel many times. We are always made to feel welcome and the owners and staff are very kind and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, room had an excellent view and balcony. This is a very nice, cozy, and clean hotel in a beautiful Leukerbad. The stay includes entrance to Leukerbad Therme, which is a great bonus. The hotel is family-owned, and the people are very nice and friendly that it feels like home. A perfect place to relax and discover this beautiful Swiss region . I highly recommend it!

Very happy with this family owned hotel! Staff is very nice, rooms are very clean, and breakfast, although simple, is very delicious with locally sourced traditional products. It is centrally located in front of the town hall / main bus station, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and steps away from the Leukerbad’s main and biggest termal baths - that, on top of it, guests get free access to!

Lovely room, but small. Nice breakfast in wonderful rooms. Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the sauna because it is only available from 4 to 6p.m. but has to be booked in advance. But nobody explained/suggested it.

Close to everything but at the same time it can be noisy by people in the street. Entrance to Leukerbad therme was included. Excellent coffee.
