The hotel is in serious need of renovation. There were only fifteen people staying and so was rather ghost like. We were given rooms on the top floor which were small, with tiny windows looking out on the roof with no view which was a shame as other floors were obviously available. The bathroom has chipped tiles and cracked basin. The breakfast is a good spread but everything has been sitting for ages...

This mountain spa use to be one of the best places to relax in Europe. Since it changed management about five or six years ago it has deteriorated significantly. It now allows kids under 16 years old and often infants. The kids piss in the pool, dive off the structures and cause what used to be relaxing experience, too be a dangerous experience. Beautiful hotel, good welcome but a little aging. The bathrooms could do with a refresh. To go to the baths which are on site, it's an obstacle course, it's complicated and not practical.

Comfortable rooms and bed at the Hôtel de France despite damp stains in the bathroom. Big downside of not having been warned that the hotel swimming pools are closed (we don't know why). Obligation to pay for parking at the Alpentherme at the tourist office in the village center. The buildings are in great need of updating.

Fantastic family weekend The time was extremely entertaining. So many hiking options, followed by relaxation in the pool and sauna! A comprehensive breakfast with local specialties and friendly, bilingual staff! The relaxation began as soon as we arrived, and the (child-)friendliness was evident! We'd love to come back soon

Staff were very nice, the main part of the building has a nice character and many details that make you feel at home. The part where my big room was, was less well maintained. Several things were broken. Cleanliness was not an issue, though.

I had a great experience during my stay. Great view from the balcony. And excellent service. We had to have breakfast early before start time of breakfast service. They prepared everything the day before and brought it to our room, including some sandwiches for our via-ferrata activity. Highly recommended!

Upon our arrival at 8PM with a small child we were told that they are busy and we have to come back in 30 mins. Food was good and big portions. Fast and friendly service. Homemade pasta was nice. Restaurant was fully booked at 8pm and thus rather noisy, but nothing unexpected.

The hotel is in good location close to bus terminal and Migros. My room is cozy and clean but bathroom items (such as shower head, ventilator) are old and a little bit fail to function normally (they are clean diffinitely). Most of all, all staff I met are friendly and very helpful. Romerhof Restaurant is reccomended.

We always come to this restaurant, normally in our first night in Leukerbad. Dependable and fríendly atmosphere. Nice food, I enjoy particularly the Norwegian pizza.

Friendly, both at arrival and departure. Our room was a nice size, very clean and functional. Breakfast really is excellent. It's not the deluxe hotel but well worth the money and the human touch makes this place special. The restaurant on street level is also very good and the live 70's music (or was it 80's?) was a laugh. I'd definitely stay again.

The relatively high ratings for this place are a bit of a mystery to me. There's really nothing special here. The rooms are old (though ok and clean and mine was huge), staff friendliness is medium-rare, a complicated itemized breakfast order at check-in was discarded in the morning, my tea was forgotten again after I asked for it again at breakfast. There's definitely nicer places in this town.

I dropped just for a warm late afternoon drink with my girlfriend and my dog, the service and hosting was outstanding. They even brought my dog some treats and some water. Everyone was friendly and the drinks were delicious. We also enjoyed the cozy Swiss interior. Thank you very much!

For me one of the best restaurants in Leukerbad offering amazing Swiss food. Also loved the centrally located hotel and great rooms. Inexpensive restaurant, but... The daily menu was noticeably undercooked: crunchy risotto and stiff rabbit meat. Also, the choice of beers was very poor.

Excellent hotel within five minute walk of Gemmi cable car. Our room was clean and spacious, shower was hot and strong with heated floor area for drying. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and spoke perfect English.

The environment and hygiene were good; it's the only hotel in this small town with its own hot spring. However, they didn't provide toothbrushes or slippers, so you have to bring your own, which was very inconvenient! The breakfast wasn't very plentiful, but it was enough. Everything else was great!

Selected this hotel for a week of vacation and no cooking. Enjoyed the short walks to the Torrent and Gemmi lifts. We ate out at good restaurants nearby and shopped at the Coop for materials to cook healthy vegetable-rich meals at our friends’ rental. Thai and Indian food not easy to come by in town. Thh hotel staff and owner are impeccable in customer service all they do. The hotel is immaculately maintained. The breakfast is extensive and essential for manuvering the daily hiking, climbing, biking regiment. The beds are like heavenly clouds and the balcony breeze and views are stunning. The quietest place and the most beautiful surroundings i have ever experienced.

We only stayed one night but this hotel provided us with our most enjoyable meal in our two weeks in Switzerland. The food was top quality, great flavours and service. The hotel is very close to the thermal baths (Walliser Alpentherme) and our room had a nice balcony and was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful.

We were upgraded to a suite as the hotel wasn't busy. Spacious room with balconies, separate shower room & bath room, plus large table & benches to sit at to eat or work. The restaurant was closed on Monday night. Breakfast was relatively simple. Staff were friendly & helpful. There was a nice garden area. The road is not a through road so there was little to no traffic noise.

Really delightful spot, lovely couple running the place. Our room was clean and great for a family. Not far from town or far from the lift. Really a great overall location. The breakfast in the morning has plenty to offer. They could add a bit more to the apres ski scene but not sure the town needs it.

Very nice restaurant with friendly service. During our stay I suffered from stomach issues and this place saved me with their very yummy Gerstensuppe and Bouillon with egg. First of all, thank to the local guide’s reviews. It is a good indicator for me to choose restaurants! The exterior was quite common, but the interior is super, the most impressive is the friendly and professional staff and good cooking crew. The menu is quick and delicious. What a wonderful experience. We went as a very large group and received nothing the the best service. They were extremely accommodating at the hotel and the attached restaurant. Our group included 3 one year olds and many other children and they went above and beyond to make the stay as easy as possible. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!!

The hosts are super nice and welcoming. As for the price-performance ratio i would totally recommend this place! The location is so close to the city center and everythung can be easily reached by foot.

Stayed here after giving up camping in the rain. Charming place, great value, the owners are very accommodating and the staff went above and beyond. They lent me a climbing helmet and gave me great advice on things to do. Stir-fried tofu was great too.

Amazing stay. They give you passes for the therms and for the funicular, which then makes this hotel quite cheap. Furthermore the rooms are very nice with a beautiful view.

Rooms are big and well appointed. The bathrooms are also spacious and it's nice to have the toilet separated. It is a pity that there is no longer a restaurant, but breakfast is served and it is a very good breakfast. A bit of a shame that the passage to the outside pool is not covered and nor is it cleared of snow!
