This hotel is located near the beautiful lake and schadau-Park. There is a good bus connection from the Thun station. And it is very easy to reach other places like Spiez with Bus using travel-card for free! The room was the also nice and clean.

I checked in late and there were no hotel staff due to post Christmas Day. However, I will expect clean bedsheets and pillow cases for us. However, the sofa bed was not prepared in advance. The bedsheets was torn, the pillows were dirty, there were no pillow covers. The blanket was stained and no cover sheets as well (see attached photo).

For the price paid, it was highly disappointing. Even the chair was broken, there were no tv remote controller for me even to access the tv. The jacuzzi had much dirty particles as can be seen from the TV. The only consolation was the good breakfast provided. Can see that the kitchen staff has done a good job.

I really feel terrible for such a standard in Switzerland. Worst hotel for my trips here.

The hotel is very clean and spacious. You can see a beautiful sunrise over the mountain from the breakfast room. Bus stop is just across the hotel, a few stops to Thun main station, very convenient especially if you have swiss pass. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The only drawback for me is the beds that are not thick/hard enough (same with many hotels in Switzerland) but overall a very pleasant staying.

The hotel didn't warn me upon check-in, and the central hot water system had a broken part that couldn't be repaired over the weekend. I showered with cold water all night, and there was no one at the front desk or by phone until I saw them at breakfast the next morning to find out why. When I checked out and raised the issue, the front desk told me to write an email to complain, which was incredibly frustrating.

The hotel is clean, well decorated and has really friendly staff. The manager, Marcello, is superb, dynamic and runs a great team. The hotel does not serve alcohol, but once warned there’s a petrol station close by with a range of drinks, so it’s good to get a room with a balcony/terrace to enjoy a glass on. The rooms are a good size, the suites enormous. Breakfast offers a good range of fresh breads, cheeses, hams, yoghourts, juices and hot sausages and scrambled eggs. You can also boil your own fresh eggs !! Coffee is good. The hotel is also on a v good bus route into the centre, just 4 stops away, ideal with the free Panorama bus pass that the hotel gives you. In the daytime busses are every 10 minutes. we will definitely return.
