The receptionist and front desk were very nice and friendly. The pool was very attractive. The suite was big but no concept. The balcony looks over dirty top roof. We asked the front desk to change the room but no response. Modern but boring with exception of bottle of water nothing else. It was a bad option for a hotel and faraway from the center.

I would recommend you all to stay in this hotel if you bring your family. The place is very quiet. Supermarket is still reachable on foot (650 m). The staff is also very responsive and friendly

Only 5min to main train station, and the room is spacious. The breakfast is also ok. Definitely, will comeback again someday.

It's a very good location with spotless clean hotel They have a great breakfast and coffee I preferred staying here because its just next to the train station it's easy to get around by walking I went to visit Abbey Library which was amazing I would highly recommend you this hotel

Clean room with large bed. Has nice coffee capsules in the room and bathroom has several shampoos soaps and conditioners. However, complimentary toothbrush, comb kind of supplies were missing.

We visited this place in a party with 8 friends and 6 dogs. We instantly recognized this hotel is a bit special. The furniture and materials are high quality. The service is first class. the rooms are not very big but very functional. The parking garage is free and also suitable for bigger cars. Even the electricity to charge EV‘s is for free. I spent almost 2 weeks there, and I can recommend it. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and all facilities look modern and high quality. Breakfast was also good. Situated close to the highway, city center easily reachable by bus or by around 5 minutes by car.

I could have used more pillows. The internet service varies from time to time during the day. But it ranges from okay to very poor. The room was nice and quite big. I don't know if it was due to the energy price, but the room temperature was a bit low. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but the taste is quite average. It is not recommended to try it.

The hotel is historic and previously was military officers housing. It sits near a beautiful park and with an easy walkable incline. Highly recommend this hotel when staying in St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Beautiful iconic building set in a green area of St. Gallen and walking distance from the center. Yes next to a road but it did not bother us: we enjoyed the amazing genuine historic rooms, friendly staff, amazing terrace and had a fantastic stay here: and good value for money: next visit I will definitely stay here again!!

Extraordinary friendly staff and an excellent service in the hotels restaurant. Food was of very good quality and the overall impression is excellent. Best in class so far for this price range. Rooms are not super up to date (small TV and very basic bathroom) but still comfy and more than acceptable, if the rooms would be somewhat more modern i'd definitely rate it a 5+

I found the hotel just kind of accidentally! There was a traffic jam near St.Gallen and my Navigon navigator showed me this hotel in the vicinity. So I checked in rather quickly and even was able to choose a room. So the one I took has nice view on the surroundings and itself is pretty comfortable. The bed and the room was good. Everything was clean. There are two downsides: the windows are old, therefore you hear every noise from the street (annoying with Saturday night party people) and you need to go through the small bar at the hotel entrance to get to the rooms. Which is no problem in normal times, but they did not really care about corona measures, which makes it unsafe also for hotel guests

I stayed in this hotel with a friend for three nights. For a shorter stay it was a pleasant experience. It is quite basic but it has a few good things, which makes it a worthy pick. This hotel represents great value for money, and is in a great location. The staff are nice but have limited English. The biggest downside to the hotel is that reception is not always available. If you need your bike from their lockup, you must make sure you do this before reception closes.

My one night stay was pleasant. I was given free parking, a city guide and a free public transport pass for the duration of my visit. Exemplary customer service. The only thing that brings it down a star overall is that it is attached to an old folks residential home. Breakfast was included in the price and was very worth having even if the Birchermeusli was a little too sweet for my taste.

The hotels in Switzerland are more expensive than elsewhere, but I paid less for a 4star in Bastogne Belgium. So no airconditioning, no fridge, shower with curtain, no shelves in bathroom, small room. But very good breakfast between the old folks (breakfast is served in rich old folks home) and free parking in garage. And in old part of Sankt Gallen.

Nice designed room, very stylish with an open bath & shower (suite at the top). BUT, the room has a very loud ventilation which cannot switched out. This was very annoying during night. Therefore, I would nood book again this room. The Staff of the Hotel was very friendly!

Really good hostel, stayed with my family although a little pricey….perhaps because of the euros football match. A little out of town but great views and accessed via tram or bus. These were free which was great but again I guess because of the football. Accommodation was refurbished and modern and breakfast really good.
