We stayed at the Einstein as part of a cycling holiday and fell ill during our stay. The Einstein team provided us with excellent support during our predicament, from a doctor's appointment and visit to multiple extensions of our stay, additional support from housekeeping, room service, and porterage... nothing was left to be desired, and we returned thanks to the truly excellent help of the entire team who got me back on my feet. We can highly recommend the Einstein and definitely want to return at the next opportunity to once again enjoy the wonderful location, beautiful rooms, and excellent restaurant under normal circumstances! A big hello and thanks again to the Einstein team.

We followed a recommendation from friends. The hotel and restaurant are wonderful! The menu was probably the best food I've ever been served! Absolutely top notch, and a huge compliment to the kitchen and pastry shop. Also worth mentioning is the excellent wine pairing and excellent wine advice! The service staff was incredibly friendly, even at breakfast! The people working here truly know their stuff! The icing on the cake is that our dogs are always welcome and the hotel is located in the city center. It's practically part of a monastery, so to speak. We're even thinking about when we can come back. Thank you 🙏

We had a big corner room, with gleaming white linen combined with a deep wood closet, desk, door and a modern, airy feel. It also had a gorgeous bathroom with marble swimming all over, and swank amenities. And best of all--there were plenty of outlets to charge our various electronics. The bed was fantastic, like sleeping on a bag of marshmallows. It was an incredible stay, and we regretted we only stayed 1 night. Service was also top-shelf. The staff were great in storing our bags when we showed up a bit early, and then checking us in even with a little free room upgrade. The hotel is located just outside the old town ring, and is just a 350 meter walk to the Abbey. They also included a local St. Gallen discount card with our stay, giving free public transport, museum discounts, etc. That made it a slightly better value, but this is still a luxury-priced hotel. That said, it a great splurge.

The location excellent, in a quiet street, luxurious environment. The rooms big, very hot (!), nice and clean bathroom, nice bed which provided a nice sleep. Nice breakfast, very friendly and assisting employees. Would love to come back!

We had an excellent stay at Einstein during our visit to St. Gallen. Having travelled as a family of three from Zurich after an international flight, we found it effortless throughout our entire stay at the Hotel. Upon arrival - checking-in & parking the car in the garage were all very easy. The location of the Hotel is perfect to explore the city of St. Gallen. The breakfast hall adjacent to the main Hotel was huge in size, plentiful & also has a great café / restaurant during the day in the same area. The rooms were decent in size, comfortable, well appointed and very quiet. The service from the staff ( no matter what area they were in ) was also of a high-standard and very accommodating / friendly. Overall, a great stay and a great Hotel.

We had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful city. The hotel is located in the historic part of St.Gallen and close to shopping and attractions. I had reserved for the wrong date but the reception team solved this issue in an instant with a smile. The hotel team is very friendly and always eager to chat and share their favourite restaurants or sights. The breakfast is splendid and so is the Bar. (We didn’t do the restaurant, apparently it has Michelin Stars). The Bar is amazing and always crowded. There is a speakeasy style in the back that offers a wide range of cigars. We tried the gym and it is gigantic. The kids enjoyed the pool in the meantime. To sum up, we will be back in town and it’s definitely going to be the Einstein again.

Every aspect of Einstein Hotel was outstanding. I was very pleased, and highly recommend them. If I go to Switzerland again, I will definitely stay there.

Comfortable hotel in great location and within easy walking distance of the mainline station, delightful historic Old Town and all the major attractions. Take the funicular up to visit 3 lakes and a wonderful view of St. Gallen and beyond. Cathedral Bistro great place for a refreshment stop. Had delicious local cuisine at Restaurant Barz and Wiryschaft Zurich alten Post (one of the oldest restaurants in town).
