Nice place to stay for short trips
Value for money and nice range of breakfast.
Very good staffs .
Around the hotel you have lot of blue parking also hotel have limited place and its free to park.

Never have I experienced such a rude receptionist. Couldn't answer a simple question as I was trying to book my room. Tells me she doesn't want to talk to me and hangs up, declines my calls after. I wouldn't recommend a hotel with such pathetic service.

After more than a month, the hotel canceled my booking because it probably noticed that the Openair St. Gallen was taking place this weekend and that there was actually more money to be made than just an overnight stay.
When I asked the hotel for a solution or explanation, my message was simply ignored.
If you are looking for safe and valued bookings, stay away from this hotel.

I found the hotel just kind of accidentally! There was a traffic jam near St.Gallen and my Navigon navigator showed me this hotel in the vicinity. So I checked in rather quickly and even was able to choose a room. So the one I took has nice view on the surroundings and itself is pretty comfortable. The Internet speed impressed me: up to 3 Mbit/sec which is very fast and reliable. Parking is free either. The is a free of charge coffee as well.. The room is decent and realistically priced. So overall I grant 5 stars to the Sporting *** hotel!

The double room was too compact with shower, toilet and wash basin in the room itself. A curtain or a wall to separate the bathroom area would have been good. Other than that the stay was comfortable and the hotel staff is also very good and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of fruits.
