Nice hotel, conveniently located on the lakeside, close to the train station.
Rooms, facing the lake, are spacious and clean. Good amount of amenities. I enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine (real coffee, not the instant one).

Rooms and bathroom were vet clean and good size, great views of the lake from private balcony, and close to train . The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Best hotel from our trip through Italy in way to Switzerland and France,

Perfection with one glaring issue: DOGS
Amazing stay, loved it, it was literally perfection with the expedition of so many people allowed with dogs at the restaurant it seemed a bit off and kinda off putting but other than that would stay again. And highly recommend.

There is no water heater in the room, and I won't give it if I ask for it. Parking is inconvenient. The bathroom is not good, there is no place to hang towels. There is only one curtain in the shower

The room, view, staff and breakfast were exceptional! The quality of food served at breakfast is really uncommon - everything was delicious.

We had a great short stay here. The rooms are wonderful, with a spectacular view over the lake. The hotel itself is clean, and kept to a very high standard too. It is quite expensive but overall we were happy.
The rooms themselves are large, modern, and with amazing views. Cleaned regularly, and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The breakfast was variable given the price. The warm food was never actually warm, but the pastry selection was good, as was the quality. For lunch or dinner the restaurant is great. A little pricey but with a nice view over the lake, and good food, it makes up for it.
There are free city bikes that we used to get around, and explore out of Locarno a bit. A great little extra to get out and about. The hotel is also located right next to the train station making it ideal to get to, and explore further afield.
The main issue we had was with smoking. The balconies are laid out next to each other with limit divisors between them. Our neighbours would smoke every morning and evening on the balcony, resulting in our room smelling of smoke, and limiting strongly how much we could enjoy the balcony itself.

It‘s really a 5* hotel. Spacious, well furnished, very clean rooms with beautiful view on the lake. Rich breakfast buffet. Good restaurant in and outside. Very friendly staff.

I love this hotel. Beautiful location, gorgeous rooms, kind staff who speak 3-4 languages, awesome breakfast buffet (they like their bacon rare here, that seems to be the way they eat it in this region). You can't go wrong staying here.
I reserve 5 star reviews for hotels that provide conditioner and lotion as it's a serious inconvenience to pack them with liquid limits at airports. This one didn't include them. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else was amazing.

Very good outdoor lounge for a drink, and I would highly recommend to order their “Aperitivo Lago Maggiore” for some food to go with the drinks in the late afternoon.
Would have been 5-star, however on my last visit we were very disappointed as we wanted to have drinks but there was a private event in the outside area. This wasn’t a problem, we instead went inside, where despite it being entirely empty (literally) we were told the kitchen wouldn’t be open that night except for hotel guests, even though we just wanted drinks.

I didn't stay at the hotel but popped in to hear the piano player and sample the ice cream. Both were most excellent. Oh, and the waiters are nice too, the decor tasteful and the doors suitable for letting us in and out. That's all I know. You should pay a visit and tell us your impressions too.
