If you have a car, this is a must visit hotel in Switzerland. The views from the room are outstanding. The staff was helpful to allow me a late check in. You will find stunning hiking routes from the hotel. The kitchen in the restaurant closes at 9 pm and the restaurant closes at 10 pm during summer. The drive to this hotel is another bliss.

Stopped here with the kids for lunch. Lovely welcome and atmosphere. Delicious soup for the adults and the kids devoured their schnitzel and chips. Great views from the restaurant windows.

Location is very good and the rooms are having an amazing view. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is good and Arosa card is a plus

We stayed at the Hotel Erzhorn for a week’s skiing. Excellent ski to door location (you soon get a handle of the geography). Lovely owners and staff, spacious modernised bedrooms, lovely beds and a hot walk-in shower, daily a nice buffet breakfast of cold items. Lunch or dinner in the restaurant is available on a PAYG basis. The following wasn’t a problem for us, there’s no elevator, instead fairly steep narrow stairs. No lounges, sauna or spa. Arosa centre is a free ski bus away, they’re very regular. Highly recommend. The restaurant food is delicious.

Place seems to be family run but they leave an old grumpy lady at the front desk. Why not put someone with some hospitality at the front desk???

Check out time is ridiculous - 10:30am?!
Got locked out of my room and they had no extra key?!?!
When I asked for an extra key, at 10:00am, the grumpy old lady told me to check out. Never got a key… Had to wait 30min for my wife to come off the slopes. Do not recommend if you expect space, hospitality, and leisure. You will have tight space, grumpy staff, and be rushed to leave. (Maybe they hate Americans? I get that vibe.)
I travel often and I will not return to this place. My wife and I were stressed out here and were happy to leave. My recommendation to the hotel staff is simple business rules: “If you cant fire mom, you cant be the CEO.” Good business avoid nepotism and if you keep the grumpy lady around, make sure she gets some serious hospitality training.

Rustic, eye-relaxing interior design. The staff speaks English and is very friendly and makes their best efforts to help. Exceptionally tasty food (make sure to reserve the dinner table 5-6 hours in advance, and maybe even more in winter).

A lovely family hotel on the outskirts of Arosa. Superb mountain views and easy access to many walking trails. The hotel itself is comfortable with both indoor and outdoor eating. The staff are friendly and helpful. A nice place. Take the cable car 🚡 to the Weisshorn and visit the bear 🐻 sanctuary

Clean, comfortable, homey rooms, with a nice view - very friendly staff - great restaurant with the best Codonbleu - personalized, and with homemade tomato sauce - Would highly recommend. Saving this hotel and restaurant as a favorite!

Delicious rösti and the best beer selection I saw in Arosa. Actually this was the best mountain restaurant of the week.

Schnitzel was incredibly tender. The chässpaetzle was very good. Some other the staff were a bit austere, but friendly enough. The portions were huge, the beer cold - and we could get a reservation last minute over Xmas.
