Hof Arosa in Arosa

Great self catering hotel. Pool is lovely.

Great location right on the middle of the city center but 2 blocks down from the Main Street! Close to Coop. The flat is well maintained and organized. Heated pool and skii room. You can ask for hairdryer at the reception. No foundue pan….

This is a very nice apartment complex in the heart of Arosa. Relatively close to the free ski bus stop (although there are some steep steps along the way), and to the shops area. We only used the ski bus once or twice, as there is only one stop to the main chairlift/gondola station, and we left our equipment in the modern lockers provided right by the chairlift station. So walking in our trainers there and back was easy and comfortable! :) Our apartment was clean and spacious and Mr Marty was almost all the time there to help us with whatever we needed. The swimming pool is very nice and clean, and the view of the mountains from the pool is simply fantastic. Parking is conveniently provided underground and the roads are well kept, even though it snows a lot in Arosa. Skiing in Arosa is just awesome, and the slopes are by far the best kept in comparison with everything else we’ve experienced in the Alps. The local Coop supermarket was more than enough for our whole week of self catering, and we also recommend the smaller supermarket Denner Express, which is reasonably cheaper. A daytime train ride via Rhätische Bahn to Chur and back is recommended, as the views are unique and the area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Simply breathtaking! We loved Hof Arosa and Arosa itself, and we cannot wait to be back in February!

Best vacation ever. The apartments are very well furnished, the pool has a mountain view, there's a sauna, underground parking, and the central location in Arosa leaves nothing to be desired. With the all-inclusive Arosa Card, you can do a lot and leave your car in the garage. You can really switch off there and enjoy nature. Switzerland is extremely expensive, though; we shopped at Denner, which was cheaper than Coop. It must be magical in winter. The access road is a bit challenging, but that's to be expected when you drive into the mountains. Arosa is located at approximately 1800 meters above sea level. We highly recommend Hof Arosa; the hotel was also renovated this year.
