The hotel is surrounded by a Park close to the centre of Davos, 350 metres from the ski area Jakobshorn. Panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the valley.

Location: in the Central part of the resort, in a quiet and peaceful place surrounded by a small Park in the part of Davos Platz, just a short walk from the Promenade - the main shopping street.

To the ski lifts easily accessible by public transport. The Congress centre is about 10-15 minutes walk. The famous scenic Panoramaweg route passes near the hotel, and also next to the lift on the Schatzalp, which raises the mountain, which became the prototype of "Magic mountain" by Thomas Mann. The nearest airports are: zürich - 154 km, Friedrichshafen - 153 km, Innsbruck - 174 km, Milan - 238 km, Geneva - 424 km.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Davos. The stylish and elegant interior design immediately creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms and facilities are exceptionally well-equipped, offering both comfort and convenience. One of the highlights was the excellent sauna area, complete with a peaceful relaxation zone - perfect after a day in the mountains. A truly enjoyable experience - I would gladly return!

We spent 3 nights in the 3.5-room apartment (approx. 86 m2) on the 1st floor in the annex to the Hotel National. Check-in at the Hotel National, shared garage with hotel guests. Direct access to the apartment from the garage. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and looks new and well-kept. The apartment is bright enough but does not offer a sweeping mountain panorama. The balcony is a good size and is sheltered from the wind with a view of the village and the mountains. The apartment does not have a cozy atmosphere despite its modern furnishings. A large comfortable sofa, pictures, cushions, decoration etc. are missing, making the apartment feel a bit sterile. Short walk to the bus stop and central location, yet quietly situated away from the main road.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hotel National last weekend for skiing. The rooms were very clean with a great view of the slopes also we like the outer closet setup very functional with ample storage with skiing/snowboarding guests in mind.
The ski rooms were very clean and comfortable and having boot drying rods even in the lockers was amazing for a multi day trip, the room keycard also works as the ski pass, locker key which was super convenient! Ski room would be perfect if they had more storage for snowboards but it wasn’t peak season so we were fine. The spa/sauna area was very nice and clean and well looked after. The restaurant attached was decent and the staff were fantastic. The hotel staff were professional and helpful.
Location was very good as it is only a 3 minute walk to the busstop to take you to the gondola to the Parsenn side.
Definitely recommend a repeat visit with them next time in Davos.

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at the National Hotel and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and restocked daily. Other reviews have complained that there is not an extensive enough breakfast, but we felt it was enough. If one needed soy milk or lactose free milk, the staff would get that for you. I think that I have pretty high expectations when I am spending my money and the National Hotel met all of those expectations. We highly recommend it!

Nice hotel in davos platz. We enjoyed our stay. The wellness area is great. The stuff was very friendly and the service great. Its a steep walk from the trainstation. But they offer a shuttle service to the Jakobshorn station during ski season. The prize was quite high. Maybe because it was the weekenf before the WEF.
