The rooms are clean and regularly maintained by the staff, but the furnishings are very basic—our room didn’t even have a proper closet, just a large shelf. The TV was practically unusable; offering Apple TV or Chromecast would be a great improvement. The toilet is only separated from the room by a glass sliding door, which lacks privacy. Breakfast is good, though not as good as last year; they now serve cheap orange juice from Mpreis, and I missed having bacon. The hotel is well-equipped for bikers and offers great value if you find good deals. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the train station.

Was here for a conference. Very friendly staffs and the rooms were decent. Comfy beds and pillows. No A/C but it wasn't really necessary as the weather was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Perfectly located inbetween train station, Jakobshorn Gondola and the center of Davos. Shops, bars and restaurants are abundant and within 5 minutes walking distance. Staff is friendly and forthcoming, rooms are nicely furbished and quiet. There's also a great in house Restaurant, with hot stone meat plates as their signature dish.

This is the first and last time I have been a guest at this hotel. We had booked 2 days of skiing (4 ski tickets) in a double room with breakfast. Due to strong winds, only 10% of the cable cars were in operation. I suggested staying one night longer and moving the 2-day ski tickets forward by one day, as they had not yet been issued at that time. However, this was categorically rejected even though the hotel belongs to the Davos cable cars. So we were forced to ski that day. WAITING TIME 1.30 hours at the first gondola, as this was the only one in operation at that time. After just 3 hours and 2 runs, we had to stop skiing because visibility was zero and it was therefore dangerous to ski in the wind. Given the prices for the lifts (82 CHF day ticket) and hotels in Davos, I would have hoped for a little more flexibility and accommodatingness, but it seems that the Hotel Ochsen does not need that. Therefore, I will definitely ski in other ski resorts in the future and will not book the Hotel Ochsen again and cannot recommend it based on my experiences.

Simple, good hotel, ideal for a skiing holiday. Close to cable cars and public transport. Very helpful staff. Breakfast with a good, fresh selection. A bit noisy, but bathroom and room have been recently renovated. Everything you need is in the room

There are lots of different rooms in this hotel. Mine was rather old but had been renovated in a really cool way. With lots of glass, transparent sockets, a cool shower. A rustic industrial look or something... Very interesting and unusual. Good restaurant and the location is absolutely perfect!

A simple but nice and comfortable room. The service was excellent and very kind. The location is very convenient for a day of skiing and an evening in the centre: I also recommend the restaurant with their specialty "Hisse Stein"

Rooms are very simple but okay.
Parking cost 18 chf a day for outside parking behind the building. A little bit too much.
Restaurant Steakhouse has good food.
Breakfast is also good.

The hotel is in the middle of town, close to the train station and the Jakobshorn valley station. The package with ski tickets offers very good value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We always book mountain hotels when we go skiing in Davos. Thank you very much.
