Charming hotel in traditional style located right next to the ski lift and is an excellent choice for a ski holiday in winter and in summer guests can walk to the lake shore. It offers comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

Location: Davos, distance to airports: Zurich is 154 km, Friedrichshafen - 153 km, Innsbruck - 174 km, Milan - 238 km, Geneva - 424 km, in 200 m from railway and bus station, 50 m from the ski lift.

Consists of a 5-storey building.

Stayed on half-board (about CHF 147 per night). At dinner I ordered a glass of wine (≈ CHF 6) and simply asked for a carafe of tap water. The waitress flatly refused: “Water must be purchased.” Even after I explained that I was a half-board guest, the manager came over and confirmed the policy, claiming there were “costs” and pointing out that two bottles of water had already been provided in my room.

I found this attitude both disrespectful and astonishing: refusing a basic glass of tap water to a paying guest is not worthy of a hotel. By that logic they might as well charge guests for the chairs! If the business cannot afford to offer a single glass of water, it is time to rethink the business plan.

We loved our stay at the Bunda, the staff was very friendly, our room was always clean. The food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced compared to other places in town.
They even had gluten free buns that I could have at breakfast. Amazing

The location is good, but the facilities aren't great. There is no refrigerator, and it is cold because the heating isn't very good.

The male staff member at the reception is unfriendly.

Even if reception should be open from 8-18 none is there.
Room is full of insects. A fly since day 1 and tonight a pincers walked on my mattress coming from beyond the bed. Impossible to contact the hotel to ask them to change the room. Horrible experience

Friendly and helpful welcome from the receptionist. Our room was comfortable and clean. Car parking's easy and free. Very nice continental breakfast. A quite location too.

Hotel Bünda is a warm, family-run mountain hotel perfectly positioned in Davos Dorf, just a few minutes’ walk from the Parsenn cable car and cross-country trails. Surrounded by a serene yet central setting, it blends Swiss hospitality with ease and peacefulness, and is managed by hosts Manuela Vieli and chef Thorsten Bode—who together create an experience that feels personal, relaxed, and welcoming to all guests.

Had lunch on the beautiful patio, wonderful place to soak in the sun. However, the food was bland or almost uneatable, and the service even worse than that. Very disappointed, considering this was a go-to spot back in the day.
I'm local and cannot comment on the hotel rooms.

A nice hotel, situated on the edge of town but not far to walk to local transport and restaurants, Beds are nice and there is a fair bit of room for your clothes. Accommodation is either in the main part of the hotel or a building next door. There is an underground passageway between the two buildings.

We have recently spent two weeks at this lovely hotel. We were in the Residence part with a good room with balcony, that has sunshine in the afternoon (if it comes out!). This is linked to the main hotel both outside and via a tunnel if it is wet. The room was very comfortable with a bath and shower. There are tea and a coffee machine, but bizarrely tea bags are supplied daily, but not coffee pods. (Why have a machine??). We stayed on a half board basis and the food was very good and plentiful. The breakfast was a continental type, although bacon and scrambled eggs was on offer. There was a fresh orange juicer as well. The evening meal was a set three course meal, with a two choices of starter, main and pudding. These were very big for us and we had to ask for smaller portions as we could not always eat them all. Beer of choice was Appenzeller Weisbeer: Very refreshing.
All in all a very good, value for money hotel.

A good friendly family hotel
A bit out of the bustle of Davos but very conveniently located near the Dorf railway station and bus stop into town. Good breakfast with fresh orange juice and good coffee.
