I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. The room accomodated all four of us comfortably, and we could easily store our skis on the balcony overlooking the mountains. The location is fantastic, and we were especially pleased that the restaurant and bar offered great food and drinks after a long day out on the slopes. The managers are personable and friendly, offering helpful tips. We would stay here again.

Booked very last minute as it was a 5 min drive from Leysin Tobboganing Park. Very reasonably priced , free parking next to the hotel , bus stop right at the door if needed. Rooms are a little dated but have everything you need and it was very clean with a balcony, wonderful Mountain View and continental breakfast was included in the price. Small town so close to restaurants etc and a lovely children’s park just down the road. The lady on reception was very helpful and welcoming , we would stay again.

Not the first time that we’ve stayed here; we also visited this summer, but winter and summer experiences in ski resorts can be very different, but I’m happy to say that the second stay was just as good as the first. A couple of small gripes; coming down for breakfast at 9, when it runs until 10, and not seeing much left of the cooked breakfast wasn’t a good sign, but as the children weren’t hungry it wasn’t an issue for us. I assume that more would have been provided if requested. Our shower gel bottle was empty upon check-in, but despite requests to refill it, even physically taking it down to the staff on duty, it never got replaced. Our room didn’t have an openable window, only the balcony door, so no fresh air available overnight once the door was closed. Lovely family that run the place, great budget hotel.

Well priced for an average room. Warm reception. Clean linens and bathroom. I like too the pleasing mild creaking sound in one small corner of the floor. This is a good indication of real 100% wood as opposed to laminated floorings.
I had a beer in the balcony facing the mountains in full moon after a day of ski. Good gracious god!
Basically what you see (online) is what you get (in reality). I like full transparency. Nice!

Outdated style. Beds squeak big time! Bathroom very outdated, bad lights and very bad to no ventilation in the bathroom.

Most of the time nobody is present at reception of breakfast, they are somewhere else.

My opinion price is to high, but that's location driven I think.

Breakfast was very good, enough choice!

Nice place owners very friendly and very welcoming room clean little basic but the setting in the alps fantastic I am a lorry driver and made delivery in the town and because of driving regulations had to park up for 24 hours that's why I stayed her it was a little expensive but after 1 week living in the lorry my 12 year old son was delighted to stretch out in a real bed for the night and soak in a hot bath so was worth it maybe the owners will give a little discount at check out

Great views from this place . Keep in mind the drive up to the hotel is quite a task as it's super uphill and has a lot of curves throughout the road. Basic breakfast boiled eggs, bread , cereal and coffee and tea. Owner is nice and busy mostly as he is running a restaurant as well next door. Also lastly be sure to check in by 10pm or be ready to hear an earful from the owner. Our flight got delayed and we got to hotel around 230 am ( I also called the owner ahead to let him know we are sorry and will be arriving late) and owner was very upset with us and made sure we knew he was mad at us. He asked us to stay in a 5 star next time if we are arriving this late. It's not part of his services (late check in) . So if you're running late ( flight delay or arriving in Geneva after 8) get a different hotel . Some other points below
• free parking was a plus !
• beds are not super comfortable but good enough .
• really nice view from the room .
• your closest city to get good food will be Aigle.

Cosy, warm, comfortable. Great value. Lovely friendly helpful and hospitable owners/staff. Great breakfast buffet. Parking. Secure ski storage. Comfy beds. Great WiFi and its free of charge. Food options limited though - not sure it qualifies as a restaurant, but perhaps it ramps up for peak periods. Loved my stay and would stay again.
