Hôtel Bon Port in Montreux

Lovely comfy beds large rooms and cleaned each day.
Staff not too friendly when asked anything was told we don't do that we only 3star....
Very good location from train station and Xmas Market which have to say was not the best??

Historic building and rooms, but slightly updated and clean. The location is very convenient and next to a bus line. A few minute walk to the waterfront.
They also service a nice assortment for breakfast.

Well presented hotel with large rooms and very nicely renovated en-suite. You do need to catch a lift to the 1st floor reception desk but this is not a big issue. Staff are friendly and professional, and you will only be issued with a single room (physical door key). When leaving the hotel for an day outing it’s a good idea to leave your key with the front desk.

Breakfast is basic, hot eggs are boiled and pastries, some cold meat and cheese, with cereal and juices, and offered between the hours of 7-10am.

The rooms have plenty of USB charger points, 1000 channels on the large screen TV including some English although I found it hard to get pictures on the English Channels.
Large French doors are double glazed and open to an outside patio view (which you’ll be lucky if your room has one of the patios included).

On the first day we found in our room two bottles of spring water provided. Rooms have a safe, storage cupboard,air conditioning, and tissues.

Location is just across the road from the Montreux Casino and the buses 201 & 204 stops out front.

There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel on the ground floor.

Wonderful stay with offers for tourists like free buss and discounted tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem the rooms have is lack of AC (they provide fans) and ants if you leave food bags on the floor, so watch out when handling food inside the room.
