Balcony Seaside Sriracha Hotel & Serviced Apartments (SHA Extra Plus) in Sri Racha

There are plenty of activities for kids — especially the Laser War zone, which is absolutely amazing and super fun! The room is spacious and comfortable, but overall the property feels poorly maintained. The rooms look old, and the pool tiles are falling off in several spots.

In the kids’ activity area, while there are lots of fun options, cleanliness is not well maintained and there are too few staff to supervise. Breakfast choices are quite limited, and the price is even higher than many good 5-star hotels in Pattaya

I've been a regular guest at The Balcony Seaside, visiting at least twice a year and usually booking at standard rates. I truly love the property, but this stay was disappointing compared to my past visits.
The front office staff did not provide complete information about the hotel’s facilities at check-in. I understand the hotel is busy, especially with families and children, but better communication would help a lot.
I recommend having breakfast as early as 5:00 AM to avoid the crowd — it gets very packed later in the morning.
At the onsen, staff were unable to control noise or guest behavior, which made it far less relaxing than it should be.
Most concerning, however, was that front staff took a photo of me when I had visitors and shared it in their group chat. I also noticed security recording a video of my car as I was leaving. This made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected — especially since I was simply checking out to stay at another branch, The Balcony Courtyard, not leaving without notice.
It’s unfortunate because I’ve always been loyal to this brand. I hope management looks into improving staff training, privacy practices, and guest communication, so returning guests like me can continue to feel welcome and respected.
