Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor by IHG in Bangkok

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor.

From the very first night, we encountered repeated room issues, including serious bathroom drainage problems and malfunctioning air conditioning. These issues directly affected our ability to rest and enjoy what was meant to be a holiday stay. Although the hotel attempted to relocate us, the process itself was exhausting, time-consuming, and disruptive.

While the hotel later offered a room upgrade, they refused to waive the first night’s room charge, despite acknowledging that the problems occurred on the first night and significantly impacted our comfort. As compensation, we were given a THB 1,000 food and beverage credit — unfortunately, this experience turned out to be another disappointment.

At the restaurant, the staff were not aware of the credit at all, and we had to wait a long time while they repeatedly checked and confirmed it. Service was extremely slow, with over 20 minutes of waiting time, and our coffee order was delivered incorrectly twice. The overall service felt disorganized and unprofessional.

What is most disappointing is not just the individual issues, but the consistent lack of coordination and service recovery across different departments. This experience falls far below what I would expect from an international hotel brand.

Unfortunately, this stay caused significant stress rather than comfort, and I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who value rest, efficiency, and reliable service.
