VIP Chain Resort in Ban Phe

Rented 4 bedroom villa for 2 nights, having stayed here in the past. With my Thai family obtained a price, had a look, went back to the office and when they realised a farang was in the party the price increased by 400baht. c'est la Vive.
Accommodation good with nice pool, with a jacuzzi. Nice and clean, but obvious building had aged.
The next morning found the pump to the pool had stopped working, according to the staff, when they checked, they confirmed that it was broken and the owner of the property did not wish to repair it. Tough. No clean pool, no jacuzzi. For the price paid???? Welcome to V.I.P. resort.

Just in front the sea
Unpleasant staff (apart from the security guards at the entrance who are adorable and the owner who was very available and helpful). First when we arrived, they wanted to make us pay taxes that we had already paid when booking. As said below we also found that there are thieves in their staff we had money stolen the first day by the air conditioning repairman because the safe made available did not work and I do not even speak the behavior of the foreign manager of a certain age!! Following bedbug bites in a room, they want to disperse insecticides everywhere inside the house I explain to him that I am with young children who move to 4 pasta and put all in the mouth I asks him to put the product just outside the house and just in the room concerned. He answers me word for word it's not possible and it's not my problem if you have children who lick the floor while ending his sentence with: You only have to take care of your children!! By looking down on me and my Thai wife, behavior completely hysterical and threatening to see racist towards us!! Not knowing what to say to us, he even threatened me and asked me to leave the reception! I strongly advise against this establishment for all these reasons! Basically everything was our fault we complain too much 😂😂 the joke!! Not once an apology during our exchange on the contrary! Typically the behavior of a haughty foreigner believing himself at home and allowing himself to speak badly to customers!! This is the first time in 10 years in Thailand that I have been so badly spoken to and treated by a foreign manager to boot!!

The condos are starting to show their age , but are well maintained and clean There is a popular restaurant right next door . The views are great depending on the floor and room position. Rayong is very quiet even now at the start of high season . Relaxing
