Amazing hostel. Really helpful staff. Rooms are air conditioned. The washrooms/showers are all clean. 5-10 minutes walking from the pier. Eating places around. You will feel homely, inmates can sit in the common area and chit chat. General breakfast is there every morning, and you clean your plates after that, which is a good habit. The only thing which bothered me a bit was the mosquitoes in the common area, but that can be dealt with, considering the other pros and price.

Receptionist is practically never there. Not that it matters as she speaks absolutely no English. Air-conditioning is constantly at 18, making the air super dry. Although it says breakfast is included it is not. Also don't feel my stuff is particularly safe, happened multiple times that people moved my stuff, dried clothes thrown in the bushes behind the hostel etc. Definitely DO NOT GO HERE.

I stayed in a private room which was I think a new addition and was pretty nice, comfortable and very big for the price. Close to the pier so easy to get on and off the island from there, but not a particularly fun spot in town. The shared area was always filled with travelers and was pretty sparse and old school hostel-ly. So not modern, clean, but with character. Interiors in that side of the hostel were kind of dingey. Staff were super nice. Seemed like a family run place with kids and grandparents all around, but who knows?

We stayed at V hostel because it came with our dive package. But if we played for it, I would have been disappointed. Although the showers were warm, which was nice after diving in salt water all day, and the rooms were air conditioned. There was a few things that were bothersome to me. The beds were very loud like wrapped in plastic along with the pillows that they gave you. Also our group gave the staff our laundry and it took 2 days for it to get back to us. But grateful it was a package deal and didn't spend extra for it.

Been staying here for past 2.5 months.. Amazing hostel, the staff is very helpful and courteous. Clean bathrooms and 🚽. The beds are comfy and have pod style beds thus less disturbance and good privacy. Would surely recommend this place.
