I couldn't be happier about my stay in this place. For one, attentive and friendly staff as they keep your needs in mind. It is also about 5 min walk from the koh tao pier, so it is convinient if want to be near there I appreciate how clean they keep this place. The fact that you get inside without your shoes makes a difference. This place has a great view to the sea which made me feel relaxed and at ease Would definetly return here.

I came to Koh Tao to get my Scuba Instructor Certification, and do some local diving and Specialty Certification training. It was important to me to have a nice base of operations for my 2 1/2 month stay, and Sunrise provided all that and more. Great location, nice clean room with good AC, and the best staff on the island. I was able to study my materials with no distractions, walk to the dive shop, and enjoy a good choice of restaurants in the area. I enjoyed my stay here immensely and consider these folks dear friends, especially proprietor Jeab. A class operation!

Unfortunately, the pictures have nothing to do with reality. It's very dirty and run-down, simply disgusting. The "bathroom" is a filthy hole and often smells of sewage. Music from the street blares until late at night, and the boats depart from 6:00 a.m.

This place is very well located, right on the beach and only 3 minutes walk from the pier. The ideal place to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the sea. Not forgetting the warm welcome by Christiane, the manager, who always gave excellent advice.

An amazing place with beautiful sunset, staff is kind and thoughtful, especially the manager who would help you with anything u need! If you’re a dog lover or have a dog this is the place for you! Many dogs come there often and play together on the beach, my dog (and I) enjoyed every minute of staying. Thank you for a lovely stay! 🙏🏽

Sunrise Koh Tao is just a stone’s throw away from the pier, so after a long journey to reach the island, this hotel is literally a 2 minute walk away. This saved us a lot of money as everything is so close to this place! Not only that, but the rooms are impeccably clean! The beds are comfortable and PLEASE get yourself a seaview room when booking this place! Sleeping and waking up to the sound of the waves is unbeatable! Our stay at this place was so good we initially booked 3 nights and ended up extending to a whole week! Besides Christl who runs the place gave us all the tips we needed and she was always there to help with a smile! All this within an incredibly reasonable price!
